NEBO TOOLS Big Larry Pro - 6640, 500 Lumen Flashlight, Black

I had another regular Big Larry NEBO light and liked it so much I bought this one. These NEBO lights are my favorites and most versatile among over a dozen battery powered lights. The magnet on the base is super strong and will firmly support the light in any position. I keep Larry stuck to my tool box where he is handy for under the hood car projects. I also stick Larry to the grill when cooking in the dark. The multiple LEDs fill an area with enough light to easily work with or search in dark corners. The Larry Pro version is just better in every way and has a clip that allows the light to be carried on your belt or maybe hung from a shirt pocket to free both hands. Outdoors the light doesn't penetrate very far into the darkness but indoors or around the campsite it's perfect.The flashing red strobe would be useful to stick to the car roof in an emergency or any steel surface on a boat or motorcycle. The Larry isn't the only light you will ever need but one you will want for almost everything.I've seen the reviews stating reliability issues but both of my Larry lights have been working fine. I have a smaller light that looks like the big Larry (not sure if it's a Nebo) and had flickering issues with it. I used a pair of needle nose pliers to slightly stretch the spring that contacts the battery and all was good after that.

I use this light all the time. Put some double sided tape on the charge base and then plug it in somewhere. You will always have a fully charged light at the ready for daily use or an emergency. I really like the red light feature for going out at night. It’s not a beam that projects a long way but it gives you great coverage for the area around you. It comes with a smaller portable charger that you can leave in your car or take on the go. This model being the “pro” comes with a very sturdy aluminum pocket clip and it’s magnetic on the bottom. I have bought several of these for family members I like it so much.

This is a very bright light! It has three modes: on, red, red blinking. A retractable clip for hangin on your belt, pocket, other and a powerful magnet at the base are convenient for hands free lighting. USB can be used with or without a stand, so charging can be just anywhere there is a USB outlet. The battery life seems forever, I keep it charged but have used for over an hour and it still was full bright. I give these away for the perfect gift to just about anyone!

It’s a very nice light. It’s bright and you can dim it down. The red flashing light would be handy if you have car trouble on the side of the road. The magnet is strong and is a plus to the usefulness of the light.The down side. I purchased the light and it would not hold a charge or take a charge after only two weeks. Customer support was very good at replacing it. I will give it another try. After buying the rechargeable one I realized it would be useless to take it camping as there is no place to charge it. It would however be a great light for home use. For camping I purchased the same light with AA batteries. Hope this is helpful.

I recently lost part of my vision to glaucoma. My vision occupational therapist recommended this flashlight. It is a great help. I love that I can recharge it. No batteries required.

Great flash light. Has a nice and wide flood beam with no hot spots. It is plenty bright, I would actually say I don't need it any brighter, and I usually carry a 1000 plus lm flashlight. Great for task lighting, like working on the car or for construction. Has a built in clip that is flush or extends out. The magnetic base is very strong. It is nice that they include two chargers. However the biggest draw back is the proprietary 18650 battery that it uses. It has both + and - on the same end. The other end is just + this also means you can only charge the battery in the flash light, and can't use any other 18650 batteries that you might have. The Milwaukee rover USB is twice the price and still has a proprietary battery and is very similar in features.

The flashlight is well built. The light emmited from the flashlight is bright and floody. The charger stand works well. It will only take a flat top 18650, for those who want to upgrade the battery. The magnetic bottom has come in very handy. I tried installing a Tenergy button top 18650 and the flashlight would not work. An excellent flashlight and very affordable.

My husband just haaaad to have a second one because he loved the first one so much. According to him everything about this flashlight is perfect. He uses it a lot for work and can easily charge it in the truck on his way to a job site or can charge in the house when the battery runs low. It’s nice that it can be charged and you don’t have to put batteries in it. I can personally tell you it’s super bright. Men, please don’t shine this in your wife’s eyes. Fair warning. LOL!

Super rugged, well designed and well thought out, nearly unbreakable, with precision machining, hi-output batteries and simple charging. Always love burning my retinas right out with a NEBO light. Worth EVERY penny and more.

This light has both white and red LED illumination, which is a nice feature if you don't want to loose night vision. Very solid metal case, and the retractable clip comes in handy.
