The Dreo Smart Humidifier is hands down, without a doubt, one of the best humidifiers that I own! It is easy to use, clean, and has many features! First of all, it is top fill, so is extremely easy to fill. The water tank also lifts out, so you can either bring a jug of water over and fill it that way, or you can just simply lift the tank off, and fill it with water at the sink. It is also very easy to take apart and clean. I appreciate this feature, because I am much more apt to clean it, and that means that it is healthier, and you won’t have troubles with getting mold and bacteria. Humidity is helpful during the drier weather, but if your humidity is full of bacteria because you don’t clean your humidifier, that is completely counter productive to your health. The Dreo Smart Humidifier also produces cool or warm steam. The warm steam feature is beneficial for when you are sick and coughing. I find the warm steam helps naturally break up the congestion in your chest and the cool mist helps to keep your nasal passages moisturized. It also holds a little under a gallon and a half of water, so it runs continuously for quite a long time. The Dreo Smart Humidifier is also app controlled however, the front panel is simple enough to use, and you don’t necessarily need to download the app in order to get the humidifier to function. With the Dreo app you can do more detailed stuff like keeping track of the relative humidity and setting schedules of when you want your humidifier to turn on and off. The app is user friendly and super easy to use, also, super convenient. All in all, the Dreo Smart Humidifier is one of best humidifiers that I have ever owned. It is easy to clean and use. It has many features and holds a larger capacity. The Dreo app is also extremely useful and easy to use. I would sincerely recommend trying out the Dreo Smart Humidifier, especially if you are like me and suffer through those dry months with allergies, and/or dry skin and sinus issues.

Todo me gustó. El costo. El equipo. El funcionamiento. Es muy fácil de instalar y de utilizar. Las instrucciones son muy claras. Solo el vapor de agua o con aceite esencial es muy agradable.

When I was kid. (1970s) I had a humidifier in my room to help with my breathing. It helped tremendously. I remember the unit having this large hamster wheel like thing in it and it was a very large floor unit and it was very very loud. That is not how this unit is in anyway! I would call this noiseless. It does come with a sleep mode that makes it even quieter. The instructions confused me a little. My brain may be just too literal. It mentions a filter that needs to be in place so I was thinking they meant a real filter. Like a paper one. That is not what they are referring too. It’s just that simple cover over the plug. That is the “filter”. It comes with an aroma tray. It’s pretty useless. We used 10 drop of oil on the pad and smell nothing. But, That is not it’s intended purpose. Get a diffuser for your oils. It just works better for that. The app is sleek and intuitive. The colored front telling you your humidity level is nice. The light is subdued. The top has a directional diverter. You do not want to point the mist at a wall. Because the wall is slightly different in temperature, Condensation may happen if the mist is hitting the wall over time. Best to point it away from walls. I found it strange that the quality of water was never discussed. They are assuming most people have good tap water. We have a well. We use bottled drinking water. This unit holds over a gallon.

First of all I'd like to say that this is a VERY nice humidifier. It is by far the nicest one that I've ever used, and I am very happy with it. It has many features that I've never had, like warm mist, top fill, mineral absorption, and aroma pads. There is not just one spot for essential oils, but a slider that allows you to have two separate scents in different slots, and you can choose between them. I have admittedly not used this feature yet, so I don't know how well it works, but I think that's really cool. I only wish that there were two replacement pads as there are two slots, but it only comes with one spare. There is also a pad that is meant to absorb minerals from the water, to avoid scale buildup on the machine. The design is aesthetically pleasing. I love that it is top fill, because every other humidifier I've had has been bottom fill, and I have had to unscrew and knob at the bottom, which sometimes is very tight and difficult if you have problems with your hands. On this one, you simply remove the lid and fill. I did have some slight difficulty with getting the lid back in place, and wish that it could simply be flipped up instead of removed completely, but it's not a big deal. The tank is quite large, and fits more than a gallon, so it doesn't have to be filled as often. While running this on cool mist, the machine is absolutely quiet. Another humidifier I had seemed quiet at first, but after using it for the length of time it started to create an obnoxious buzzing sound. So, time will tell, but I feel promising about this one. While running warm mist, it does sound like you have a pot of boiling water next to you, though, but I guess that probably can't be helped. I noticed on my own that the color changes based on the percentage of humidity in the room. It was fluctuating between 30-31. At 31 and above, it was green, and at 30 and below, the color was yellow. It got as high as 80, and it was blue. The manual confirmed this. (It is blue at 61 and above.) The designer/s of this product have really thought of almost everything. There's only one thing that I really wish that they had thought of - and that is BACKLIGHTING THE BUTTONS, which are soft touch, so you can't feel any physical buttons. In the middle of the night, when it is dark and I wanted to change something, I had to reach from my phone and use the flashlight to see. In the sleep setting, it would be much nicer if you touched the screen to see the buttons back lit and then have it turn dark again after about 10 seconds of inactivity. It would also be nice if you could change the brightness of the light. You can only change the lighting from completely off (in the sleep setting) or on, which is pretty bright. This may be a setting that you can control in the app, along with the sound it makes when you press buttons--but I refuse to download an app to run a humidifier. There doesn't have to be an app for everything. The sounds are pretty obnoxiously loud in the middle of the night when you are trying not to bother your partner. The beeps are loud enough to hear from another room. They just don't need to be that loud, or make sound at all, really. Beyond that, like all humidifiers, but even moreso in this case, the cleaning process is very involved. There are quite a few parts that need to be taken apart and put back together and clean separately. It is really a pretty tedious, time-consuming, and labor-intensive process to do this as often as it says. TLDR: Pros: Top fill Large capacity Quiet (on cool mist) Aroma pads Mineral absorption pad Aesthetic design Cons: EXTENSIVE, time consuming pain to clean. SO MANY individual parts, cracks and crevices. Buttons are not backlit! And they are soft touch, not physical Lid can be fussy Sleep setting will only run low Warm mist sounds like a pot of rapidly boiling water Needs WiFi to turn off beeping Can't control the lighting brightness beyond off and on (from machine) Only one aroma pad replacement

I picked this up to provide some moisture to my otherwise dry master bedroom. I have chronic sinusitis so it's critical that I strive for a 30%-50% humidity level in my room. With this I just set it to 50% humidity, turn on auto mode, and whenever this detects low humidity levels it automatically turns on or off as needed. This is great because often times it's at night where I need the additional moisture and with this on auto mode I never have to try and remember to turn it off in the morning. Another cool aspect of this is the statistical element to it since I can now monitor my rooms exact humidity levels, home or away. My favorite aspect of this is probably the 6L removable water tank, it lasts for days and it's very easy to remove and refill unlike some other humidifiers that I've used in the past. The ability to connect this into my smart home ecosystem is also a game changer. It only took a minute to connect it to Alexa and I can now control it using my voice. The device itself is very easy to control and the app is very intuitive and allows for effortless control. I can also customize how this operates in regards to fan level and humidity levels. Thankfully, I no longer wake up with a dry nose and my sleep quality is much better now - I highly recommend this smart humidifier, I'm loving it.
