Cheap, great value for money
Exactly what I needed! I have a feeder tank with crickets and mealworms, and they kept drowning in a water bowl, so this was the perfect solution. Very cheap and you get a bunch of it, a necessity for those with insects.

Convenient Hydration and Nutrition
### **"Convenient Hydration and Nutrition: Fluker's Cricket Quencher Calcium Fortified Gel Review"**I recently started using **Fluker's Cricket Quencher Calcium Fortified Gel** to keep my feeder insects hydrated and healthy, and it has been a game-changer. This **8 oz gel formula** not only provides hydration for crickets and other feeder insects but also adds an extra boost of **calcium**, which is essential for the reptiles and amphibians that eat them. Here’s my full review after using it for a few weeks.### **Easy-to-Use Gel Formula**One of the best features of this product is its **gel form**, which makes it incredibly easy to use. Unlike water dishes, which can lead to drowning risks for crickets, this gel provides a **safe and mess-free** way to keep insects hydrated. All you have to do is place a small amount in the feeder insect container, and the crickets or other feeder insects will consume it as needed. There's no need to worry about constantly refilling or cleaning water dishes. The gel maintains its consistency over time, so you can leave it in the container without worrying about it melting or becoming watery. This is especially helpful if you’re keeping crickets for an extended period.### **Calcium Fortified**What makes **Fluker's Cricket Quencher** stand out is that it’s **calcium fortified**, meaning it not only hydrates your feeder insects but also provides essential calcium. When you feed these hydrated and calcium-rich crickets to your reptiles or amphibians, they receive an extra boost of calcium, which is vital for their **bone health** and **overall well-being**.Calcium deficiency can be a serious issue for many reptiles, leading to conditions like **metabolic bone disease**. By using this fortified gel, you’re adding an extra layer of nutrition to your pet’s diet. I’ve noticed my reptiles seem healthier and more energetic since switching to this product.### **Ideal for Various Feeder Insects**Although I primarily use this gel for **crickets**, it works just as well for other feeder insects like **mealworms**, **superworms**, and **roaches**. The gel is versatile and provides hydration for any feeder insect you’re raising, making it a great option for those with a variety of pets that require different types of live food.### **No Spill, No Mess**One of the things I love most about this gel is how **clean and mess-free** it is. Traditional water sources can lead to spills, mold, or drowning risks in insect containers, but with this gel, there’s no such worry. It stays firm and contained, even in warm or humid conditions, and there’s no risk of insects drowning in it.### **Long-Lasting**A little goes a long way with this gel. I found that a small amount lasts for several days, depending on how many feeder insects you’re keeping. The **8 oz jar** is a great size, providing enough gel to last for weeks or even months, depending on the number of insects you're hydrating.### **Pros**- **Calcium fortified**: Provides hydration and essential calcium, which benefits the feeder insects and the reptiles or amphibians that eat them.- **Easy-to-use gel formula**: No need for water dishes, reducing the risk of spills or drowning.- **Mess-free and long-lasting**: Maintains its gel consistency, offering a clean, no-hassle solution for keeping feeder insects hydrated.- **Ideal for various feeder insects**: Suitable for crickets, mealworms, superworms, and roaches.- **Cost-effective**: The 8 oz jar lasts a long time, making it a great value for money.### **Cons**- **Limited nutritional content beyond hydration and calcium**: While it provides calcium, you may still need to supplement with additional gut-loading food for a complete diet for feeder insects.- **Not a stand-alone food source**: It’s a hydration and calcium solution, so additional food is necessary for long-term feeder insect care.### **Final Thoughts**The **Fluker's Cricket Quencher Calcium Fortified Gel** is a fantastic product for anyone looking to keep their feeder insects **hydrated and nutritious** for reptiles and amphibians. Its **gel formula** eliminates the need for water dishes, reducing the risk of drowning while adding an essential boost of **calcium** to your pet’s diet. Whether you’re raising crickets, mealworms, or roaches, this product is easy to use, mess-free, and long-lasting.If you’re looking for a reliable way to hydrate your feeder insects while also enhancing their nutritional value, I highly recommend **Fluker's Cricket Quencher**. It’s a simple yet effective solution that benefits both your insects and your pets!

Crickets down this stuff
I squirt some of this into the cricket holder before they are given to my beautiful big-boned daughter (shown in photos) the size of the container is massive, and the effectiveness of the magical juice helps my crickets stay alive way longer. Honestly, the durability of the container is awesome too, i’ve dropped it more than once.

Cricket's love this stuff.
My banded crickets from Josh's Frogs love this stuff. When I receive shipments of crickets, I provide plenty of this and they are all over it within minutes.I've had good success keeping the feeder crickets alive with this product. The crickets seem to like it more than the Josh's Frogs brand of green gel.Good stuff.

Calcium fortified not good for spiders prey
This is great for crickets you're going to be feeding to reptiles. But avoid the calcium fortified if your prey is for spiders. It can make molting more difficult. My bad, I should have paid more attention.
