Well made
Good quality. Used them to secure the lids on a honey bee observation hive. The lock hole permitted small padlocks to be used to prevent unauthorized opening of the hive during the open house display.

Standard latches at a good price
Well, you do have to buy 20 at a time, but even then they are a good priceSeveral things surprised me about these: 1) They came packed snugly in a cardboard box (which is actually a good choice because cardboard is padded unlike a sheet of cardboard.) 2) They came with screws! 3) They are lockable! (you can see that from the pictures, now that I look back at them)They latches themselves are similar build and material to all the other similar latches I've worked with, so yes, I consider these to be a very good deal.

Works as intended
I used these hasps to connect the cope and drag halves of several green sand molds I use for copper and bronze casting. They have proven to securely hold the two halves and are easy to latch and unlatch. Good value.

Small
To small for what I needed it for

No major complaints, handy to have around
These are sized as described. Check your measurements!Kind of flimsy and lightweight, but these things typically are. They really rely on the surface they are attached to for rigidity. I can't tell if they're chrome plated or just shiny steel. Probably not good for any wet environments.I have a few cases with broken latches, and I think these will work well to replace them. If I was building something super heavy duty or something I wanted to be really classy, I might look for nicer latches, but at less than $1 each, these would be fine for general use and I'm sure they'll come in handy.
