Got this after seeing a similar one recommended on Instagram by a hair growth expert. I have thinning post-menopausal hair so I'm trying a few things to remedy the situation. This brush thing plus a shower water filter and new shampoos. I'll update this review if it makes a difference to my hair with time. This is a very nice massage brush. The teeth are sturdy but bendy silicone, so it feels nice and only a bit scratchy on your head. Apparently you're not supposed to use it to shampoo your hair, says the hair expert. Hair is too fragile and could break when wet. You're meant to use it on dry hair to stimulate the scalp. So we will see. She recommends using it to massage gently in small circles all over your scalp. This is supposed to exfoliate away dead skin and debris and stimulate more blood flow to the hair follicles. Makes sense. It feels quite nice. Also great for removing pet hair from furniture and carpets and brushing out loose hair from dogs' and cats' coats, so if it doesn't turn me into Rapunzel it won't be a total waste of money!

Ordered this as I was having issues with my scalp flaking and becoming sore. I’d tried everything (changing shampoo’s etc) and nothing worked. This was an absolute game changer! After a couple of washes my scalp was back to normal and the issue hasn’t returned. My hair had been at a standstill with growth but as it’s long I wasn’t too bothered. Since using this my hair has a good couple of inches over the space or a few months! Items really cheap, decent quality, worked really well for me! Comes in Pink and the ‘prongs’ are hard enough to give your scalp a good clean but not too hard it causes pain or discomfort. Would highly recommend to everyone!

I have medium length, fine hair, of which there is quite a lot of it. I have also been dealing with an itchy and flaky scalp for the past couple of years which nothing I use has helped to clear up. I was a bit sceptical at first that this would rid me of the flaky scalp but I was willing to give it a try, and also at the price (which is cheaper than some shampoos) I thought why not! I read some other reviews prior to my purchase where they'd said it had hurt their scalp when using and torn their hair so I was cautious my first time using it, however I found it really gentle but firm enough to massage my scalp properly. It has not pulled out any of my hair either (and as I said above I have fine hair) so I found myself wondering if some of the reviewers went all out hulk when using this as I don't understand how it hurt their scalp! I've used this about five times so far and I rub the shampoo into my hair as normal and then use this to massage my scalp in small circular motions. I love it, it feels really relaxing as it massages the scalp and I can feel it cleaning with the shampoo right down to the roots. I do actually feel that my hair is cleaner and lighter when I get out of the shower. Now, it hasn't completely removed the flakes from my scalp but they have lessened and my head is not as itchy. This isn't a miracle cure that will get rid of dandruff but it does help to lessen and it feels great to use, you can even use it on dry hair just for a head massage. My husband also loves it and is using it all the time! I think I may need to buy another one just for him as we will soon be fighting over using just the one. This really was worth the £8 spend and I'm enjoying my daily head massage in the shower, bliss!

I truly believe these scalp massage brushes are the best way to stop hair loss - and this one is the best. I suffer from hypothyroidism which causes hair loss. I have tried the oils - rosemary, castor etc. (rather messy), and all the pills and potions - which don't really work. However, when I go back to one of these massagers I am always impressed - and very quickly. If you use them with oils etc. they could be even better. Massaging my scalp always brings very quick relief. Recently my long hair was shedding everywhere - which (as you all know) is very upsetting. I couldn't find a massager that I'd bought previously - so I ordered this one (because of the reviews). I hate saying something is 'miraculous' .... but after a few days it really was - and my hair did stop shedding quite a lot .... and has continued to do so. I then remembered they have worked in the past. What must happen is I forget how good they are - well, they do look rather unappealing - and then I stop using them or lose them. The hair stops shedding and I forget why. In future, I intend to use mine regularly. I do not know if they can cause regrowth - but just to not see hair everywhere - restores confidence and hope. Please try one - and use it regularly - I am sure stimulating the circulation on the head must be beneficial.
