Purchased during the summer for my son. It is a great value for the price. The doors don't quite meet in the middle when closed, which might be bothersome for other people it is not a problem for me. The wood came in good condition and assembly was easily completed by one person while a toddler "helped". He and I both love that he can play in the sand while sitting on the side or in it if he chooses. I love it because I can close it and keep the neighbor hood cats out of it! Great size if you have a small yard!

PROS: This was a great fast build for one person with a drill. The benches are comfortable and it keeps critters out! CONS: It’s definitely smaller than I expected it to be. It’s so lightweight that on a couple of occasions my kids accidentally shifted it enough that the liner fell down and sand came out the bottom. Not an easy fix as you can imagine. The wood on the hinges is also slightly chipping already. Overall happy with it for the amount used!

Best gift I've bought for my grandson, he loves it.

The sandbox was easy to put together with a drill and looks very nice when fully assembled. I personally found it too difficult to hold everything in place by myself to begin drilling, and so my teenage son helped me. I love that you can close the lid to keep out falling debris from trees as well as any animals who might take interest in using it as a litter box. That said, this wood is very, very soft and easy to damage. My toddler leaned back on the bench and the entire back rest fell off, hinges and all. I’ve already had to reattach multiple screws/hinges numerous times because the wood is so soft it simply opens up around them with the slightest movement and use. I’m going to fill the holes with wood filler or glue to see if I can get things to stay together a little bit better. Aside from that, though I’m pleased with the purchase overall and I feel like it was decent value for the money. My kids love it.

This was a great purchase. The doors that fold into benches are brilliant. You can close it when not in use so the sand stays clean

It was a gift for my grandson and he adores it and they can keep stray cats out. No litter box!!

When we first made it we loved it! Especially the fact that you could turn the lid into benches. However, we live where it snows and after one winter in the snow it is just faint apart. The lid warped and then broke off. I wish it were more sturdy cause we did love it at the beginning, but now it’s just a broken sandbox with no lid.
