Very expensive lantern bought specifically for the app control. Would not link to Bluetooth, despite trying to pair with a number of devices and would not connect with the app. Overpriced for what is essentially a torch!

ℹ️ Energizer Camping Lantern - ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ This is a tough review the lantern ticks a lot of boxes. Straight off the bat I will list some of the stand out features. 📌 What I Like ✅ Made By Energizer ✅ Water Resistant ✅ 1200 Lumens ✅ Internal Rechargeable Battery ✅ 360° illumination ✅ Up to 50 Hours Run Time ✅ App Controllable ✅ USB Out Port The lantern feels well manufactured and tough. On closer inspection its not perfect by any means. Let’s remember this is a penny shy of £55.00. There’s one button on the front, this turns the light on pause for a second press again it turns the lamp off. Press the button, press again without a pause this scrolls through the lights colour temperatures. For full functionality you need to download the free Energizer Lights app. Once download you hold the power button for five seconds, this turns the light blue and puts the lantern in to Bluetooth mode. The app allows you to turn on, turn off. Change the lights colour with pre-set options, or use a colour wheel and choose you own colour. There’s a brightness slider, although to be honest only the white light is really bright. You have a one touch night light mode, and you can make the light blink. A battery remaining function is excellent, meaning you should never run out of power. You can charge your mobile phone via the USB port. To charge the lantern itself there’s a panel that removes from the bottom of the lantern. The charging lead lives inside there. I must admit my heart sunk when I noticed it was a micro USB cable, not a USB-C. It’s 2023 I haven’t seen the dreaded micro USB port for some while. I assumed it was a thing of the past. Especially since Apple has finally agreed to adopt the soon to be industry standard USB-C port. I do find the micro USB port to be very problematic. I will obviously keep the review updated with its performance going forward. Overall its a good solid camping, outdoor lantern. I realise most people today have a smart phone, however if you don’t then you won’t get the full functionality from the lantern. 📌 What I Don’t Like ❌ Micro USB Charging Port ❌ You Need The App To Operate All The Features

This is a really well made lantern and it's also very bright at 1200 Lumen but you can also use different modes too , the is a dim mode that is nice and atmospheric, the full brightness mode is really bright and lights up a room , I'm not sure I'd use this lantern on that mode much but it's good to have if needed. The lantern is quite big really compared to other smaller compact lanterns, the handle is built into it at the top to make it really easy and convenient to carry if needed. The charging cable is tucked away in the bottom of the lantern so its stored safe so its not easily lost or misplaced. The lantern is well made out of plastic , it seems Durable but expensive over £50. This would be great as an emergency light or for family camping, festivals, it's waterproof and weather resistant and super easy to use and operate. A good bright lantern but it's not cheap , hopefully the longevity is good and it lasts years of use then it may end up being good value for the price point. The interactive possibilities , different colours and app are a good feature but not something I'm personally likely to use , I will definitely be using this on future camps though as its good quality as a stand alone lantern.

Smart Energizer Rechargeable Lantern. Very robust very sturdy it's got good light and a good handle but it's also pretty expensive. It offers 1200 Lumens its also Water Resistant IPX4 its also a powerbank and the charging cable is stored in the bottom off the unit the cable is however micro USB and not the more modern USB C. My only gripe is in order to get any of the really cool ambient colours you need to download the app to your phone when the app is no longer supported you will no longer be able to use those colors 🤷🏼♂️.
