Nice gas stove from glen, strong & thick body on a single sheet of steel, good and abundant flamable burners, I'm reviewing it after using by 4 to 5 months and enquired with service center regarding the service and productivity of the stove

We have been using this stove from 1 year... It's working better and flame also coming high only. It's very heavy n durable. Ofcourse there are scratches but not to worry...

The gas stove is of excellent quality, easy to use and worth of its price.

Amazon is a great company and i have contributed to their greatness by becoming a great customer to order their great products. It makes me feel like a King to order from Amazon as the products are delivered real fast just like Superman would delivery the products to you. My Glen Gas burner was delivered on time but with Broken Knob and issues with Gas Burners catching Air Pocket which my technician from Bharat Gas advised to spend another 2000 to fix it which I have refused cause I am a great customer of Great Amazon. Little did I know that Amazon would go out of their way to rob my peace of mind and deliver me pieces of Broken dreams of cooking on all four burners of Glen Cooking Top. However, I am very happy to see the great partnership between Amazon the Glen as both compliment each other. Amazon helps Glen to sell their sub standard item which can be delivered to you broken but point is, it would be delivered. Glen refused to provide me new Gas Stove and Amazon refused to change it as it was outside their return period. So again the lesson learnt that Never Order anything from Amazon other than Bricks and Cement otherwise Mehnga Parega as rightly said by our Dearest Sir Manoj Vajpayee Jee.

Value for money

Glen gas burner design and shape looks good. However the burner was not picking up the flame need to call the technician to fix the problem as he changed the company fixed valves

It needs conversion tonwork with PNG. I purchased it recently and didn't know that it doesn't work with piped gas out of box. It was my mistake for not knowing difference between LPG (Liquified Petroleum Gas, comes in cylinder) and PNG (Piped Natural Gas, comes in gas pipe connection). Basically if you have Gas pipe connection, you're getting PNG and if you have a gas cylinder, you're using LPG. Product description clearly said that it was for LPG. LPG cylinder has higher pressure compared to PNG in pipe. That's why gas nozzle hole in LPG cooktop is smaller than PNG. Conversion to PNG requires nozzle with bigger hole or old LPG nozzle can itself be drilled to make it bigger. Technicians have drills with appropriate sizes with them for the job. Do not even think about doing it yourself. Anyway, I called the Glenn support and they scheduled for a technician visit in 48 hours. It would have cost 350 Rs. for conversion. Instead of waiting I called the gas pipe connection company and they sent their technician within 1 hour charging 300 Rs., which is added in the gas bill. Pros: - Single piece stainless steel body, which is easier to clean - Sturdy thick stands. They don't slip around easily when cooking Cons: - it's not easy to distinguish between on and off positions of the knobs. I have stuck colored tape on one side of all knows so that I don't leave it on mistakenly - There's very little room below the cooktop, so you can't store much there. It would have been better if it has higher bottom stands.
