Great chairs but what happened to price!?
I’ve had 3 of these for over 10 years and they have held up great to sun exposure, travel camping and overweight sitters. Finally damaged one due to my misuse and wanted to replace with same but price has DOUBLED! I had paid $54

Fat boy approved!
Had this since August of 2017 (almost 6 years now) and it is holding up fantastic! I know it's a little high price for a chair, but if you want one that is comfortable for a 6'+ 320lb person, this is it. Cooler isn't really worth it but the chair is great!

Nice chair!
To state the obvious, this is MY OPINION and you might feel differently with different body proportions.I just got this chair along with an ALPS Mountaineering Camp Chair( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001LF3FPA/ref=oh_details_o00_s01_i01 )and have only set them up in my living room to get an idea of the obvious good and bad aspects of both. This chair (Browning Camping Kodiak Chair) is very sturdy, comfortably wide seat and plenty of on chair amenities (can holder, storage pouches, etc). It sets up quickly and easily and stands solidly on the floor, promising equal stability on a reasonably level patch of ground outdoors where it will be used.I am a big man, 6'2" at the high end of the 300# range. I was looking for a safe comfortable seat. The only obvious negative I noticed was how slack the seat fabric was so that when I sat down, my butt was well below my knees, my feet were no longer securely on the floor and the taut strap supporting the front of the seat (strap, no bar, but no better) quickly started cutting into the back of my legs and putting them to sleep. Raising up from the seat in this situation with non-solid arms was difficult but I finally got up and installed two cushions (one was not enough) on the seat to remedy the excessive sag. If you are taigating, a leg rest would probably easily eliminate numb, achy legs. The cushions improve the comfort situation dramatically with a small negative being that you sit higher and the back does not support you the same way but is adequate. Perhaps they could remedy this problem by lowering the front of the seal a little and/or taking some of the sag out of the seat. I give it 4 stars for the apparent construction quality-- I subtracted one star for the seat problem with a new chair which was fixed with cushions.I also tried out the ALPS Mountaineering Camp Chair and found that it was also well made but was of a smaller width (I knew this when I ordered them) than this chair and rubbed my thighs on the sides. If I was smaller, I would suggest the ALPS chair but since I easily fixed (by having to carry two cusions additional) the problem, I would suggest this model for its size.I will take them to my shooting area tomorrow to give them a more extensive trial.

This is one of the best and most sturdy camping chairs I have bought in ...
This is one of the best and most sturdy camping chairs I have bought in a while. Not to mention the insulated cooler in the arm! Its very comfy to sit in and very big. I have a particular taste in camping chairs because I have had a few in the past that I just don't like. Either because they are too small, or uncomfortable, or to easy to break, or all of the above. But this chair satisfies all of those needs! I really love the cooler in the arm. because it will definitely serve you well on those camping trips to some warmer climates! The seat is comfortable and doesn't have any bars getting in the way of sitting comfortably. But you definitely don't want to take this somewhere where you will be cold. Because there is mesh on the back of the seat. So if you're somewhere where its going to be blowing cold air, be sure to bundle up on your bottom side. Its a big chair for me (i'm 6'2" and 215 pounds), which is great! But the one thing that I must say is it is heavy! So its not really a backpacking, or hiking chair. I don't really know how heavy it is, but it is a tad on the bulky side for me. So I wouldn't really take this chair somewhere where you are going to hike into your campsite for some distance. But its an all around nice chair. And not to mention how durable it is. I have heard that some other people have a problem with it breaking. But I really haven't had that problem. I use it all the time and it does everything I want it to! So if you're looking for a good chair that you don't mind working out a bit to carry then this is for you! Not to mention how EPIC it is that its Browning branded.

Very strong chair
I weigh a lot.About 400 lbs. This chair holds me just fine. The ONLY thing I don't like about it, is the fact that it isn't built for TALL people.I'm 6'2".I sit in the chair just fine. Sorta sag back and down a bit.(Side note: that MESH holds water. Found that out after a rain, BUT the Velcro on the bag kept most water out)That bar in the front that everybody complains about is not a real issue for me.It's there, but I'm not sitting for 2 hrs, so I don't notice a blood flow/cut off problem.I DO have a major issue getting OUT of the chair. My Knees are at, say, 22" and the surface of the front of the chair is at 20" or whatever. I haven't measured.BUT, point being, MY personal PIVOT POINT is above the height of this chair. . . SO. . . I have to scrunch forward, and "butt walk" forward, to get my feet back UNDER the chair so that my Center of Balance is now set so that I may NOW stand up.Annoying, but workable.GREAT CHAIR while I'm sitting. It's just the getting up thing that is a problem for me.PS: I TRY, whenever possible, to sit on a slight hill. THAT eliminates the problem for me.Overall: Happy with the chair.

Wont last
The chair seemed sturdy enough initially but has started to fall apart. It’s a far cry from my last one that lasted me 8 years. It is coming apart where the plastic couplers hold the metal supports. Given what the chair is supposed to be specked for its disappointing. I specifically bought this chair because it’s supposed to be strong which normally means durable considering I’m no where near the max weight limit.
