I should have bought it years ago!
My CHILD would not stop messing w the thermostat and this works like a charm! Easy to install and locks it up! Does not affect airflow. Easy yo read digital thermostat through case. Well worth the price.

still the best one for google nest
bought this to protect my google nest 3rd gen in case i accidentally bump into it. pros: good quality, round corner, comes with wall plate. cons: too large, what those extra space for? motion sensor stop working(it seems to be common issue for all box) suggestion, build a smaller one with round corner, thanks.

Keeping toddler hands away
Bought bc my foster toddler noticed the " buttons" on the wall and enjoys reached over the railing to hit them- there are days (it's 18 degrees outside ) he has turned off the heat or turned it to 80 degrees. Giving this a try to maintain our house temperature. Fit well on the wall - needs to be locked to keep it closed so need to keep key in a safe place

Does exactly what it’s supposed to do - easy to mount with clear instructions. The supplied hardware was sufficient to prevent tampering with the thermostat at work. You could definitely rip this off the wall if you wanted, but it’s not really intended to be heavy duty protection. Make sure you have a level, hammer, drill and a screwdriver.

I purchased and returned a different box because it was easy to open, even when locked. This unit locks and keeps those pesky employees from changing the settings. Now I am in complete control of the temperature! Baha ha ha ha....
