This pomade works well overall. It provides good hold throughout the day without feeling greasy or looking shiny, which I really like. I am still dialing in the right amount to use, but even so, it has been easy to work with. A small amount goes a long way, so the container lasts a long time and offers good value compared to similar products. The scent is mild. It is not very fragrant, but it does not smell bad either, which I personally prefer. Overall, I am happy with this pomade and would recommend it if you are looking for a clean, natural-looking hold. The picture was taken about 7 hours after I put it on and had taken a shirt on and off several times disturbing the hair.

I’ve been using different hair wax products for over 15 years, and this is the first one that doesn’t make my hair feel greasy or sticky. It applies smoothly, leaves no residue on my hands, and gives my hair a clean, natural look. On top of that, the price is very reasonable! This product absolutely deserves my 5-star rating

So, gotta say I do enjoy the product, but wasn’t quite what I was looking for. Has a gel type feel for sure, was going for something not quite as stiff. That being said, it does hold really well (as long as you don’t get it too wet), and it’s not terribly hard to use. I have really thick and curly hair, being half black, so it’s a pain to manage (that and i’ve only recently started to let it grow out so trying to find an effective management system). Little bit of a learning curve trying to find the right amount of dampness (I shower before work every morning and rinse the old stuff out of the hair), but managed to make it work pretty good after a couple days lol. It is a bit tacky coming out of the jar, doesn’t stink, but goes in pretty easy with damp hair. I have to use a bit more than I probably should, but that’s ok. Long-lasting, close to 12 hours for me, doesn’t leave residue or flakes later in the evening or next day which is great. Super easy to rinse out without shampoo, which is also great. The gel feel wears off by next day, and my hair feels soft and plush which is kinda cool, and even retains a little pliability so I can at least brush it out and have it in a decent state of affairs. Definitely a good product, just depends on what you’re looking for

I've used Suavecito for years, trying other brands occasionally, and love this brand! It doesn't weigh my hair down, doesn't leave gunk all over my head, isn't greasy, doesn't have a powerful aroma, is easy to style and rinses out quickly with water. It isn't pasty, like glue or gritty. It's dense but lightweight. I slick my hair back daily and have finally found a pomade that is worthy and affordable for every day use. This is my new pomade. It holds my hair firmly without feeling like glue and lasts all day long while I perform blue collar work. If I mess my hair up, I just wet my hands, run them over my hair and comb it again. This stuff is awesome and works like a charm!

Sticky and firm. It holds everything together. When it dries it feels like nothing.

The main purpose of a pomade is to hold your hair in place. This pomade does that extremely well. If I was eating this just on hold, it would get 5 stars easily. But I'm also eating it on scent and texture. Hold: perfect. Once you style it, it stays that way until you wash it out. It's sometimes a little hard to wash out as I've had to wash my hair twice a few times to feel like I got it all out. Scent: kind of weak. I mostly just smell something similar to beeswax and a very, very faint hint of fragrance. It doesn't smell bad, it just doesn't add a refreshing scent to your hair like other pomades, such as Suavecito. Texture: this is really the big one for me on this pomade. The consistency of this stuff is really weird. It takes a lot for it to break down so you can apply it and once it is applied, it feels really thick in your hair. It's almost like it doesn't separate evenly to allow equal distribution through your hair. It does the job, and really well, but it's an odd experience. Also, if you're not careful, it can leave clumps of pomade in your hair when you apply it. I scratched my head one day and there was just a clump of pomade under my fingernail from where it didn't break down when I applied it. Like I had just taken a glob out of the jar and placed it on top of my head. But I assure you I rubbed it through very well. If the texture wasn't as thick and tough and if it smelled better, this would be a great pomade. But as it stands, I use it as a backup to Suavecito, which is my go to.

I have been using this product for about a year now and have been overall satisfied with performance, appearance and value. IMO this is the best value on amazon for mens pomade. I like the matte finish as it does not leave my hair looking wet, there is a mild sheen, but not what I would consider shiny. The product does not have a strong sent, but the mild smell is pleasant. The product applies best to damp hair, as ive found it difficult to spread evenly in wet hands in dry hair. This may be to product consistency, which feels similar to wet paste vs the clear firm gel many other manufactures use. Despite the medium hold label, this feels much more firm, again a positive on my end for thick straight hair. I plan to continue using this product as my primary hair product and have been very satisfied. Great value and hard to find anything else that performs this well at this cost.
