Installed in a Dell SFF with no issue
Needed this for a old printer on a small form factor that didnt come with a serial port. Installed this in a few seconds. Windows 11 found the driver and I was up and going in 10 seconds after install! Great product. Works very good with no issues on a Dell Small form factor PC

Performs flawlessly in 24/7/365 service.
I purchased this board for a low-end computer that I set up as a Debian based NTP server for my local network. I used a GPS receiver with one pulse-per-second output as the time source, and it is connected to this serial card. The card installed into a low profile pci slot and was brought into service by linux with no hassles. Set up NTP software to read data from this comm port, and viola! and stratum one NTP server was born. This card has performed flawlessly in 24/7/365 service. Highly recommended.

Works well to add Serial console for my Linux server
I have a DIY Linux server that doesn't have remote management (BMC, or IPMI).Once the only graphics card has been passthrough to a VM, I don't have access to Linux console anymore. This solve the problem perfectly. I did need to edit a Linux boot configuration file in order to have Linux console via serial. You also need a "USB to Null Modem Serial Adapter Cable" to connect from a second PC to this card (this card is DTE).

Does nor memorize the serial port
What a disappointment! We purchased 15 units and we were impressed in the beginning of how this product was setting up itself without even using the supplied installation CD. The problem showed up when we turned the computer (DELL 3090 desktop) OFF and then ON again. The COM2 initially setup by the card become COM4, then COM2 again and so on. We then used the installation software for each card with the same result. It appears this product was not memorizing the settings. This was unacceptable and we had to return the entire purchase.
