Using this for my proctored exams for college, works perfect and has graph paper on one side!

This is a fabulous tool for helping students align their place value correctly when doing longer division or more complex muti-digit multiplication. Perfect for helping sloppy writers monitor where they are placing their numbers. This ah-ha moment was a great correction for allowing students to carry over the practice of proper alignment to their own papers. It fixed the issue of incorrect alignment faster than graph paper typically does because the spaces are nice and big, so it’s hard to accidentally go into two spots.

Today schools teaching different adding and subtracting math strategies. Decomposing, compensation.... I am old school. I use this whiteboard at the dining room table and while traveling. It's great ! It shows place value and I can quickly set up Horizontal equations into a Vertical grid that separates the numbers by place value, thousands, hundreds,tens, and ones. This little whiteboard helps my 8 year old with re-grouping and or borrowing. Kids need to see both horizontel, and vertical equations.

We homeschool and got these to help the kids with learning. They are sturdy and very helpful. They also arrived quickly.
