Chieftec CI-01B-OP Gamer mATX Chasis - Black

If like me you want a modern, a little different, sleek and simple case, which doesn't look like an Led nightmare, then this case is perfect.Frankly, I've been looking for a case designed for horizontaly alighted motherboards for a while, due to a spot of paranoia after a couple of incidents where cheaply made CPU fan mounts cracked and dropped their load, so the layout of this case was a major selling point for me.Despite looking small in the pictures, this case is well sized, components fit in easily within the stated maximums, with plenty enough room for airflow and cable management.I bought 3 120mm fans to connect to it (there is space for 2x120mm, and one 120/140mm) but it ran comfortably with a single old 120mm for a few days while I waited for them to arrive.Bottom air intake comes with a removable wire dust catcher, and side intake an internal catcher held on by magnetic strips, bot easy for cleaning. Side air intake is perfectly placed for the video card, being as wide as the maximum size it can take.Easy to remove drive trays solve the issue of trying to squeeze tools in to mount hdds, and the flip front gives just enough room to work with.Only downside to the design was the release clips on one of the plastic panels are hard to manipulate to remove them due to proximity to outside edge of the chasis. A design flaw that could of been easily fixed if they had been set 90 degrees from what they are (and annoyingly the same way the other panel is already).

Initial impressions are very good, it seems to have good build quality and there is enough space for everything, although it is obviously a bit more cramped than an ATX case. The way the case can open up is extremely useful for accessing the interior as it lets you fit everything in to such a small case.The manufacturers website also states that there is 15cm of room for the cooler but I have installed a 15.9cm hyper 212 evo cooler, there is actually more like 16.5cm for the cooler which is good.The case can also take a fullsize ATX PSU but be warned that it is quite difficult to plug the cables in once the PSU is in place and you cannot plug them in before hand because there is not enough room to then insert the PSU, although this is only a problem if you have a modular PSU.Overall the case is smaller than a fullsize ATX case but can still fit everything you want and so fulfills it's purpose very well.

Overall case design is good for heat dissipation, plenty of space within for passive cooler if needed. the only problem I have with this case is the honeycomb effect offers very little structural support (thin metal mesh/interlocking plastic/foam), so I envision it breaking if I were to place anything heavy on top such as a lamp or ornament, which is not supported by the sides, or if this were placed on a floor and you accidentally kicked the case or hit it with a vacuum cleaner I suspect it would become damaged, I am no material engineer but would have been nice to see standoffs placed within the honeycomb structure or the use of perspex giving more rigid support. Also when you install your power supply, the air intake will face downwards, so may lead to power supply overheating if you had a thick pile carpet, I don't so not a problems for everything else, can't complain it's a nice modern case, I've modded mine with blue leds that are visable through the mesh and are linked to the fan controller which fits in the floppy bay. works for me.

The best thing for me is that this case with removed legs nicely fits in the IKEA Kallax shelves.It's a pity that it has its buttons/USB ports on the top and not on the front. Had to put extra USB ports in the 3.5 slot.It is l slightly bulkier that I wanted it to be - but definitely not cramped inside. and can provide ample cooling.Overall, one of the very best cases I bought.

I bought this specifically to operate as a test bench for RAM, CPU's, wiping data storage etc. but didn't want a regular bench as I wanted to be able to close it.It offers enough space for HDD's, fans and surprisingly reasonable space for cable management behind the PSU. I don't use GPU's in this, but there is ample clearance for those that may want to add one.The screws which come with it are not the best, though this wasn't much of an issue as I already had boxes of various PC screws, standoffs etc. and it's super cheap to buy spares. I'm not sure how long the hinges will last with constant use, but so far no issues.Overall it's really good value, and I think it's worthy of a 5 star rating.

Il case, senza girarci attorno, è bellissimo. Compatto, costruito con materiali di qualità e finiture moderne, fa il suo effetto in qualsiasi ambiente. All'interno, troviamo spazio in quantità per i componenti che vanno separati dalla motherboard, come HD, SSD e affini, ma non per quelli che vanno direttamente sulla scheda madre, come a esempio le schede grafiche o PCI in genere. Fate molta attenzione infatti alla tipologia di sistema che dovete costruire perché l'ultimo slot PCI (quello più esterno) sulla scheda madre risulterà inutilizzabile, trovandosi a contatto con il pannello esterno del case.Detto ciò, se non avete esigenze particolari e il vostro sistema è un classico PC dotato di una sola scheda grafica e senza schede PCI aggiuntive, allora si tratta sicuramente di uno dei migliori case in circolazione. Inoltre, a questo prezzo è veramente difficile trovare di meglio sia dal punto di vista estetico che da quello qualitativo.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bezieht sich auf den Preis von 36,99€, was wirklich ein super Angebot war. Aber auch für 40-45€, wie man ihn sonst i.d.R bekommen kann, ist dieses Gehäuse wirklich klasse. Ich habe vorher noch nie einen PC zusammen gebaut und es gab keine Probleme- alles war dabei und (fast) alle Löcher waren passgenau (nur eine Schraube vom Netzteil hat nicht gepasst, aber es sitzt trotzdem fest. Apropos Netzteil: ich bin schon froh, dass ich mir keins von be quiet geholt habe, da das mit einer Tiefe von 16cm schon sehr eng geworden wäre. Stattdessen habe ich ein Seasonic focus gold, welches nur 14cm tief ist.Alles in Allem bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Gehäuse, da es nicht nur funktionell ist, sondern meiner Meinung nach auch viel besser aussieht als die meisten anderen midi tower (wenn man allerdings auf Geblinke steht, braucht man was Anderes)

Hallo.Es ist genau der Formfaktor den ich haben wollte um meinen PC auf dem Schreibtisch stehen zu haben. Was ich sehr gut finde, ist die Anzahl der zusätzlichen Lüfter, die sich dort einbauen lassen und die Länge der Grafikkarte ist einfach nur super!Man kommt sehr leicht an alles ran, da man die Front wie auf dem Bild einfach durch lösen von 2 Schrauben lösen kann. Das Einbauen aller Komponenten ist aber auch ohne das Öffnen von oben möglich.Für mich ein sehr einzigartiges Gehäuse. Das gehört meiner Meinung nach in die Kategorie "Alles richtig gemacht".

ich Arbeite gerne mal an einer Neuen Idee der Chieftec ci-01b-op Kubus also überhaupt Chieftechabe ich früher sehr gerne benutzt.ich habe mich deshalb auch für Chieftec ci-01b-op Kubus entschiedenMango die Anschlusskabel sind extrem und übertrieben zu langeansonsten findet man an diesem Gehäuse viel platz fürs kleine Geldalso 5 kleine 2,5Zoll oder 2 x 3,5 zoll Festplatten und 3x 2,5 Zoll Festplatten "oder SSD" sowie CD/DVD Rom finden platz der wirklich optimal genutzt werden kann.Verbesserung: fast nur das Kabel das einfach nicht Optimal überlegt wurde es ist viel zu lang fast schon länger als bei einem Midi Towerich konnte leider auch keine 3 Lüfter einbauen bis mir eines auf gefallen ist man kann oben das Deck erst mal leicht herunter nehmen und dort hat man platz für einen 120mm Lüfter dort habe ich einen Noctua verbautalso Lüfter kam mir der Dark Rock 3 in Frage also verbaut der hat gut platz aller dings wie man es am Bild sieht etwas übertrieben nach hinten gebogen wäre dieser etwas weiter nach vorne könnte man hier noch einen 2ten Lüfter verbauen.Vorne habe ich einen 140mm Lüfter von Noctua Verbaut der für extra Luftstrom sorgt so bleibt der CPU optimal gekühlt. als Gamer würde ich das Gehäuse allerdings nicht einsetzen da für ist der Luftstrom nicht hoch genug istDann habe ich mal eine Bitte an den Hersteller die Schrauben falsch verpackt die für das Mainboard geeignete Schrauben liegen nicht so bei wie sie sollten.Die Schrauben die fürs Mainboard geeignet sind, sind extra in einem Tütschenviele Verwenden die Schrauben die bei den Hauptplatine "feste Schrauben" liegen die sind etwas größer ich weiß leider auch nicht wie man die dann dennoch rein bekommen sicher ist nur das man die dann meist nicht mehr raus bekommt oder sich das Mainboard zerstört.Probiert vor dem Einbau das die schrauben zusammen passenbei den Länglichen Schrauben die unter das Mainboard gehören liegen die Schrauben für HDD und nicht als Befestigung für das Mainboard.Deswegen auch nur 4 von 5 SterneAchso wer mal wie ich das Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Wärmeleitpaste probiert ich kann sagen die ist für die Angabe des Herstellers ein Wucher den das ist nach auf Tragen ehr Schleifpapier als Wärmeleitpastedie MX-2 obwohl sie klebt wie sekunden Kleber immer noch besser und die Wärme wird Optimal abgeführt.Alles in allem würde ich dieses Gehäuse weiter Empfehlen ist optimal wenn man nicht viel Platz verschwenden will oder kann.

Conception in ''Germany'' mais made in ''China'' donc rapport qualité prix imbattable. Boitier très léger pour une telle rigidité. Cette astuce de pouvoir ouvrir le boitier sur tous les cotés permet un montage très aisé : parfait pour une carte mère miniATX (une ATX ne rentre pas).La face avant et le couvercle du dessus (en plastique) sont clipsés sans aucun jeu donc assez difficile à déclipser : pour ma part j'ai fait appel à une petite pince courbée pour aider les clips à se dégager de leur logement ... sans risque de casser le plastique. Les fils soudés sur les connecteurs ''du dessus'' sont assez fins (même s'ils sont renforcés par des gaines thermorétractables) aussi je recommande d'être soigneux lors du démontage du couvercle du dessus pour installer un ventilateur supplémentaire par exemple.Après avoir acquis des boitiers allant du premier prix au haut de gamme comme des LianLi, c'est ce boitier (le 8ième) qui me donne la plus grande satisfaction : çà change des tours, la forme ''cube'', petit et compact, rend le PC très stable pas de risque de basculement, l'accès des composants du PC est très aisé donc idéal pour des geeks qui bricolent beaucoup sur leur hardware.
