Swan 2-Slice Retro Toaster, 800 Watt, Red

Fantastic retro looks that fit with anything from a 1930s Streamline Moderne scheme to 1960s pastel, to modern day colours. It works very well too: takes bread and buns of all sorts of sizes without fuss, the slots are properly deep and the toast always pops out with a very even colour. It seems to be a slightly slower toaster than others we've had, and I wonder if that is a) deliberate and b) why the toast stays very crisp without any internal stodge that you sometimes get.Finally, the sides and even the metal front, all stay nice and cool, so you'll have to put some effort in if you want to burn yourself. It's a big 4-slice toaster, possibly even bigger than it appears in the photo but it's also solid and very satisfying in operation. At £40 it's a bit of a bargain for the quality and performance.

Top design, perfectly manufactured with attention to detail, extra large slots. I am very happy with this toaster as it fulfils almost all requirements. Sliced bread of any size, pitta or bagel are evenly toasted. The two sides can be controlled individually which accommodates different preferences, bronze or brown etc. Absolute happy !This toaster is made in UK and it gives me also a good feeling to have supported an european manufacturer with this purchase.

Good for toasting bread, even healthy thin slices. Don't put chapati in though 😯, gets stuck!! Attract

Arrived very promptly and well packaged. It is a very good looking and very good product. When I have guests it is good to have four slots to cook the toast at the same time. Toast is a good colour. I have not tried anything else in it but the slots are big enough to take most toastable food.

Looks lovely - which is why I chose it - burns one side of toast every time . Usable but just need to keep an eye out as timings not reliable

The first time I have ever bought a four slice toaster and now I wish I had bought one years ago. Each two-slice section has its own controls. So you can toast (variable settings), defrost frozen bread, and even reheat toast that has gone cold to different peoples taste at the same time. The toaster has a fifties retro look to it and the colour makes a stylish addition to my kitchen.

I was very pleased with this as it was in a flash sale for a bargain price. There is a minor defect on the rounded frontage, just a very small dimple that is barely visible unless you look hard enough. Nothing worth worrying about and works a treat. I'm well pleased.
