My previous oil cooler started developing oil leaks near one of the male AN10 threads. It's only a few years since originally installed on vehicle. I tried sealing it again but it didn't help. Seems like a hairline crack somewhere and it's impossible to find or fix. Time to R&R the oil cooler. This new one is fine but it's slightly smaller that the cooler I had to remove. I may install a second one to increase cooling capacity if this cooler holds up to the test of time. Every 20 deg. F. drop in oil temperature doubles the life of motor oil. Or to put it another way, for every 20 deg. F increase in oil temperature, chemical reactions and degradation of oil is increased twice as fast.

The oil cooler is well made and the coating seems to be of good quality. It feels nice and firm to the touch. I installed it in a bullnose bronco to cool the C6 and so far it seems to be doing good. I was able to attach a fan to it to allow for additional cooling. So far, no issues observed. I would recommend as a transmission cooler.

Went in like a dream and everything I needed for my 2001 Suburban 1500 was included. I did not have to reuse any parts from the last radiator. Complete install only took about half an hour.
