i went cheaper (and smaller) on the first cooler and should have just bought this one instead. This one helps keep the transmission cool, and works great. (The other smaller one wasn't sufficient when driving up into the mountains.)

Effective cooling my 66 Chevelle turbo 400 trans
Installed this cooler in my 66 Chevelle to cool th400 trans with 383 stroker engine. Works good. Nice quality

Good quality, no leaks so far
My previous oil cooler started developing oil leaks near one of the male AN10 threads. It's only a few years since originally installed on vehicle. I tried sealing it again but it didn't help. Seems like a hairline crack somewhere and it's impossible to find or fix. Time to R&R the oil cooler.This new one is fine but it's slightly smaller that the cooler I had to remove. I may install a second one to increase cooling capacity if this cooler holds up to the test of time.Every 20 deg. F. drop in oil temperature doubles the life of motor oil. Or to put it another way, for every 20 deg. F increase in oil temperature, chemical reactions and degradation of oil is increased twice as fast.

Nice little package
The oil cooler is well made and the coating seems to be of good quality. It feels nice and firm to the touch. I installed it in a bullnose bronco to cool the C6 and so far it seems to be doing good. I was able to attach a fan to it to allow for additional cooling. So far, no issues observed. I would recommend as a transmission cooler.
