My first impression about the Logitech crayon digital pencil.
The Logitech crayon digital pencil is compatible with my ipad 10th generation 10.9". It is very sleek and convenient to hold and write. It is certainly a good alternative to apple pencil. My ipad supports only apple pencil 1st generation with a lightening charging port which requires an adaptor for charging thru my ipad which has a usb type C port. But Logitech pencil has usb type c port which can be charged with the help of a( usb c male to usb c male ) charging cable and connect to usb c female port of my ipad. Plus the price I bought it on Amazon just 4 days back was about Rs 3500 less than apple pencil. So far I find it is working well. But the problem is that spare tips are not yet available with Logitech. It will be good if they can work on its availability fast. I suggest one can certainly go in for this Logitech crayon digital pencil without any second thought. I am happy with its performance so far.

Best genuine alternative for Apple Pencil 1
The media could not be loaded. Logitech crayon is simply amazing as it does the job what it is supposed to do.Pros:1. It has tilt sensitivity.2. It is cheaper than Apple Pencil 1 gen ( Though it's still expensive than it's foreign price cz almost 1000 is charged as tax )3. It uses the same apple technology ®. So I expect it will have support in iPad iOS future updates.4. Battery life is good.5. It doesn't have design flaws like Apple Pencil 1 (Crayon is not cylindrical, has cap that will not get lost easily, has LED indicator and has On/Off button so battery doesn't drain fast)6. More rugged and tough design.7. More comfortable to hold in hand.8. Works smoothly, no lag or delay.Cons:1. Shorter battery life than Apple Pencil 1 (-4 hours)2. Has no Pressure sensitivity (Artists should avoid buying this crayon)3. Doesn't come with extra nib.4. It can't be charged without lightning cable.Overall, if you are not planning to use it extensively for art work, use it for note taking or other tasks and want to save some money (couple of thousand rupees), go for Logitech Crayon!!!It has more pros than cons when compared to Apple Pencil 1. However, Apple pencil 2 comes with good features than Apple Pencil 1 (So making a choice between Apple Pencil 2 and Logitech Crayon will be a tough one unless price doesn't bother you)

Great stylus for writing
This is an amazing budget stylus and a good alternative to apple pencil. However, here are the pros and consPros:- No pairing needed- writes smoothly (no lag)- good writing time on single charge- doesn’t roll off because of the shape- sturdy- looks great- can be charged using your iphone/ipad chargerCons:- shape is a bit awkward to write. Takes some getting used to.- not suitable for writing for a long time, again because of the shape- it switches off automatically after 30 mins of inactivity. So you need to turn it on again to use it. I find this a little annoying during meetings especially- does not have pressure sensitivity... so bad news for artistsAll in all, a great stylus. However, if you can chip in additional ₹1000, then buy the apple pencil. It’s worth the additional thousand bucks.Summarizing, do not buy as an alternative to apple pencil but as a better alternative to other cheap styluses

Worthy contender: If the price was right!
I have purchased a Logitech crayon a few days ago. I already had an Apple pencil 1st Gen. I will discuss pros and cons of Crayon, which may help you make an informed decision. Apple pencil means Gen 1, since I have that and am using it for comparisonPros:Crayon is smaller than Apple pencil. Feels more balanced in the hand (Fits the Thanos criteria: perfectly balanced, as all things should be!).Body is more sturdy and has an anodised finish. Hence you can carry it worry free in your pocket or bag. Apple pencil has a glossy white finish and is prone to scratches. Also, I feel that the pencil is less sturdy than crayon.Crayon gets full marks for durability. No dumb cap-and-adapter gimmick in Crayon. Rubberised cap is in built, so you won't risk losing it. Also, to charge the pencil, just plug in your iphone/ipad cable directly. This will bring you a lot of mental peace.Crayon won’t roll off your desk like the pencil, thanks to its shape. Add +1 to mental peace.Orange cap and tip makes it highly visible and therefore easy to spot in your backpack/desk drawer. I don’t know about others, but this is a bonus feature for me.No pairing, unpairing and repairing required. Switch it ON and start writing/doodling.ConsPrice! Crayon is being sold at a much higher price than its price overseas. The difference between Pencil Gen 1 and crayon is less than 1k bucks at the moment. Hence it is a tough choice to makeNo pressure sensitivity. Artists will find it a big letdown. Mango people like me don’t care.Battery life is slightly less as compared to pencilNo idea about spare tips availability. Logitech support is not amongst the best in our country. Hence fingers crossed! Some people may find the shape of the crayon awkward to hold. For me it was ok.I got crayon as I was looking for a spare replacement to Apple pencil which I could carry around in my pocket. If Crayon was sold at its price overseas, it would be a 5* product.Unfortunately that’s not the case. Hence 4* from me.So see if it fits your requirements and make a choice. Hope this helps. Cheers

Great..works well with ipad pro 2020
I got this product in Amazon prime day sale. I was little hesitant since most of the Apple products do not work with other third party hardware but I'm happy to see how smoothly it connects/works with my ipad. Other features -1) No need of separate pairing, just switch on and you are good to go..!2) Grip is awesome, feels like very sturdy.Go for it guys...an awesome alternative for the costly apple pencil..!
