How does it dry ? Just set it by the clothes and turn it on and it blows heat ?

Hi there. To answer your question no you don’t just do that to dry your clothes. You must have the other part like a cloth like closet with a zipper to go with it. It has a built in opening for the little dryer motor. I wish I could attach a picture for better clarity but still when you have that little closet like object I’m trying to describe along with your purchase of the dryer motor together then you can fully dry your clothes as long as you do it in moderation. The dryer motor has a timer of drying your clothing articles when it stops it should automatically shut off. To start use the 1 st button at the top left corner to turn on.(•) Then press the (+) button to add time for drying up to 240 minutes. Well by your time of choice. I hope that answered your question. If not then my apologies. It is a very helpful and useful gadget enjoy your day.
