The shot accordion-like design makes short squeezes easy is great for creating delicate designs. The bottle can stand independently, so it doesn’t leak when it’s not is use and is great for those with wrist or hand dexterity issues, as well as being perfect for use with children. Filling the bottles is easy. Make your frosting or use shop-bought. Guide the mixture into the bottle using a knife or a small spatula. Frosting can be softened for 10 – 15 seconds in a microwave before filling to make it easier. The simply screw the lid and tip back on. The protective cover can be used to prevent the mixture drying out in the bottle. The stainless steel no. 5 star tip is included, although other decorating tips can be accommodated. To create perfect stars, hold the filled bottle vertically and squeeze until the star is the desired size before pulling straight up quickly. The bottle should be rinsed in hot (never boiling) soapy water before the frosting hardens and can then be washed by hand or in the top rack of the dishwasher (or a bottle brush does the job really well too).
