Used to keep Night Critters Away
I use 4 Star Night Laser Dancers to keep night critters away from my property line. The side of our house leads to Black Diamond Regional Park (Antioch, Calif.). I shine the lights on the side of a hill (See Photo). It discourages coyotes, skunks, possums and some snakes from coming to the fence area. I don't really want to kill them, just go on their way to the regional park. The moving lights work.Different type of use.Michael

We moved from a small row house lot in Philadelphia that we always decorated every year, to over an acre in New Mexico. Our 1st Christmas, my husband was in need of a total hip replacement & couldn't help me at all! I was in shock at how many decorations we collected & became more & more overwhelmed just unpacking it all for a week & trying to decide what to put where. then the thought of having to decorate this new huge yard just overwhelmed me even more!! I needed a break! So I went on line & someone suggested these Star Night laser Dancers! Why not I thought & when they arrived, I went outside pretending to be working real hard decorating, when all I had to do was plug them in & instant decorations! I stood there for the longest time in shock at how beautiful they looked!! Absolutely amazing & here to stay!!!!! My girlfriend loved them, so I'm buying these for her! Oh, and I'll be pulling out my old decorations again....when I have my next yard sale !!! LOL! You HAVE to get them, their a Christmas MUST!!!

Worked fine!
I was expecting a continuous, random shower of dots like fire flys without all the geometric patterns. While it did have a random setting the dots would repeatedly coalesce into a pattern before dispersing again into randomisity, ha. Anyway, it was awesome. Bright and sharp at a distance of 50 feet in my trees. It would probably shine further but beyond 50 feet there was nothing for it to shine onto. If you don't mind geometric patterns then this is a wonderfully affordable gadget. I payed the $5.00 return postage and sent it back, but that's just it didn't please me. It worked fine!

broken stake
You can not purchase a replacement stake you need to get a whole new unit. Not sure why that is?
