Very well-made hard-shell case. As advertised, it perfectly holds one SanDisk 4TB G Drive ArmorATD with the two cables. Generous interior padding that protects the drive against a drop. Comes with sturdy attachments hardware (short lanyard and small carabiner) but both are a bit overmatched by the cases's weight and bulk once the drive is inside. So you probably won't use them. The zipper also seems solid enough to last a long time.

As always, before making a purchase, I comparison shop (especially when the ratings and reviews are almost identical/equal). I have many WD Element external hard drives in various capacities. If you own one, you know they are relatively compact. As a result, I was looking for enclosures that did not leave any room for movement upon the rare instance I might accidentally drop the case. When I saw this one, I knew it would be more significant in area than my hard drive, but while looking far more spacious and durable, I saw more storage options for other items. While I do not plan to transport it at all (it will remain on a shelf on my desk whose location is as close to the floor as possible), I feel secure knowing that if it falls, it will remain safe.Additionally, I could house my USB cable NEXT to the HDD for less movement, all while protecting the drive from shifting – problem solved. I also placed two USB flash drives, my backup hardware authentication device, and microSD cards in the mesh pocket and card slots with room for more. The hardware authentication device storage was vital as I could remove it from its permanent spot in my safe, which I had to always go to and unlock whenever needed. While I am not using the metal carabiner and portable strap, they are great bonuses made EXTREMELY well, and I have no doubts about their durability. The bubble lining more than adequately protects my device (which was essential), and the outer shell puts my mind at ease with its material.Furthermore, my fingers were all over it, and no prints were present (a pet peeve of mine). While the cost is a bit more than some of the cases I was considering, the price is in line with the product (it is not overpriced at all). And while I am not utilizing it for the external drive/brand/model listed, it fits my needs impeccably. I plan on ordering another of this brand and will not consider any others – it is that good. The product/manufacturer is clearly in a class all its own.

When I needed to take my G-Drive along in the past, I'd drop it into a pocket in my laptop bag, and worry I'd do damage. This case not only holds everything inside, it's solid and durable, so I know my data is safe inside. The memory card pockets just made me roll my eyes - I just haven't used those in ages, but I can see how some people would need to carry them safely, too.
