The Dhammapada is very beautiful and important book to read and implement in life for day to day activities. It contains 423 verses in 26 chapters which Lord Buddha himself preached during his time.

The media could not be loaded. The packaging was fine still the outercover was damaged a little, but it's still usable. But please don't send such damaged goods as coustomer pays a full price for it.

Hardback quality is great, I absolutely rejoiced when I got the copy. +⭐️But as they say don't judge the book by cover. As the book says - The Teachings of The Budddha. Ideally it should be teachings i.e. Pāli, followed by translation.Because Dhammapada is one of the 9 ways because gave Dhamma (Navāńgasatthusāsana), i.e. Gāthā, which is a Verse to be sung. It has Rhythm (Meter)- Dhvani (Resonance) - Vowels - Consonants - Embellishments in Language - Ornamentation. So, without original Pāli Dhammapada is incomplete. -⭐️As the book is published by non-buddhist publication Om SaiTech Books, they might not be aware about the background of Dhammapada. The back cover says "The Dhammapada is believed to contain statements the Buddha made...". Dhammapada is second book in Khuddaka Nikāya, which is 5th part of Sutta Pitaka. Sutta Pitak is second basket of Tripitak. Tripitak is preservation of Buddha's words, the language used is called Pāli because in Sanskrit it means 'to preserve'. The words of Buddha are preserved in Pali through Tripitak and Dhammapada is a part of it, it's not a belief in some imaginary thing. -⭐️In the beginning it may seem that translation is little difficult to understand. Although it has done a good job by giving star on words and at the end of the book giving it's description. +⭐️however, finding that is little again little difficult. -⭐️I could've returned to book, but they already wrote my name on it with a pen, so I understand it'll be difficult for them to resell, so I've to anyways keep it. -⭐️I've 2 +⭐️ & 4 -⭐️, so I'm rating it 2 ⭐️.

Binding and pages all are really good.
