Brother LC-121M Inkjet Cartridge, Magenta, Single Pack, Standard Yield, Includes 1 x Inkjet Cartridge, Brother Genuine Supplies

I have just got it delivered (28/03/20 5:40pm) and went to replace my old ones. After installing all the x4 cartridges and run x3 Test Print... the cartridges got all fully empty. I have paid over £50 and could not even print anything except the Test Print. What is wrong with this cartridges? How comes they got empty like that?Can someone please help me out? Tks

I mostly print in black and white (and bought the XL size), as that’s what I require mostly. On this occasion I purchased the package with all the colours as well, which are regular in size.I have compared the price for the inks to other sites like Curry PC world, and Tesco (who seem to do a lot of inks, but unfortunately not for the LC123 printer), but this deal worked out best value for money and provided free delivery.You will also notice there’s a lot of cheaper ink options on Amazon but they are not original Brother ink, and I have to admit I was tempted to try the cheaper ones, but I didn’t want to risk messing up my printer or importantly my printer not detecting the ink when I’m running late to a meeting. (It’s not the stress I needed, so I went with the original stuff).I also think the real ink lasts longer in comparison to the fake one (as my friend purchased some cheap ones and they had already finished, printing same amount as me, but our printers were different brands).This makes me think the original ink perhaps uses the ink more efficiently in comparison to the cheaper ones that run out quickly.It may therefore be better off buying the real ink for your printer, if you don’t want to take any risks.

After 1 small print the black ink showed low. I believe I was sold a faulty/empty cartridge. Ebuyer referred me to Brother. Both have given me the run around providing pictures and serial numbers but no replacement or refund. I’ve always used Brother ink and have bought from ebuyer before but never had a problem. Brother even suggested I buy another ink cartridge to see if the problem was the printer or the cartridge and insulted my intelligence sending a link to how to correctly insert an ink cartridge (really!) Ink is expensive so just be warned ! I just want a replacement or refund.

I checked before ordering that this pack contained 4 cartridges ie black, cyan, magenta and yellow. However when it arrived with black missing I checked the comments and wish I had done before as many have already pointed out there is no black! Won't be ordering again unless the black gets sent out to me. Given 3 stars as the product arrived in good time and the cartridges which did arrive look as expected.

I paid almost £115 for two packs of Genuine inks. One pack was fine, the other one had a yellow cartridge with no ink in it and this was in a new sealed package! I couldn't return it to Amazon because all the inks had the seal broken prior to installation in the printer. I contacted Brother but they said that they could only deal with it as a Warranty item because I had purchased trough Amazon (Third Party). To do this meant me jumping through hoops, sending the defective cartridge back to them, filling in forms, letting them have access to my printer to analyse its usage and then still no guarantee it would be replaced - most unsatisfactory for a Company like Brother.

Be wary of buying this product. My printer would not recognise the cartridges, and this seems to be linked to the fact that all four were labelled "Introductory cartridge". Others have complained about this, and it seems cartidges so marked are not normal replacements.Unfortunately, I did not try them until I needed them - who does? - and this was after the usual returns period had expired. I e-mailed the Marketplace seller, Happy.Ink, invoking the Consumer Rights Act 2015, but they did not trouble to reply until after I had chased them via Amazon. Amazon themselves were very good. I had a reply within half an hour, and a refund the next day.

I ordered a full set of Brother Inkjet Cartridges, my printer will not accept these due to low ink so I have to return. The cartridge did not have enough ink. Brother also could not validate the cartridges. The cartridges were a good value for money.

Don't buy these cartridges. The price is good but the cartridges are only 1/4 full, I'll need to buy new ones as the printer shows I need to replace them. Don't waste your money
