Monster Energy Ultra Sunrise, Sugar Free Energy Drink, 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 15)

I love several Monster flavors, this being one of them. I was glad to see it arrive. I was a little scared because I opened the Amazon shipping box and saw that the Monster box had come apart. The product was fine, but it was weird to see the product box torn apart and the cans spilling around in the shipping box. None of the cans were broken or burst, so okay that is the goal. Maybe a little crumpled paper to pad the inside of the Amazon box next time?

The energy drink itself is my absolute favorite drink in the mornings. The orange is perfect, the carbonation isn't overbearing, and it keeps me awake just fine. It does it's job and it's not too bad for me nutrient/calorie wise. The reason it's 4 stars is because of the price, which is getting to be crazy expensive. I've seen it hit $30 for a 15 pack which is just far too much. I couldn't recommend this at that price. However, at the $25 or so price that you can seemingly occasionally get, I can highly recommend it.

This tastes orange. Like Tang, or Space Tang, or something. It is also orange colored, so the taste goes with the color. It's still artificial as all heck, but if you're drinking zero-sugar Monster, you should have already realized that by now. It's a good orange. Probably not going to melt through you or anything. Somewhat enjoyable, even. In my top 5 list of 'fake food flavors'.

Love it. My favorite drink at very fair prices with the convenience of overnight shipping with my Prime membership. Zero Ultra and Ultra Sunrise are by far my favorites. I could alternate between these two forever. Ultra Violet is alright but a more distant second. Ultra Paradise (green) is not my thing. Too sweet without that citrusey punch that I like about my favorite cans. Ditto for Ultra Strawberry Dreams (pink) and Ultra Peachy Keen (I don't even know what that color is, pink-orange?). Too sweet without that refreshing citrusey kick. They're just too pretty and sweet without anything to balance that out. I would drink them if I'm out of my favorite cans but they would not be my first pick.
