The manufacturer does a really poor job of providing this information, even in their website. I'd reach out to them directly and find out to get an official answer from them.

Q: The specific load-bearing capacity of this machine is?

If you use rubber weight plates, the length of the holder can hang about 160lb per side, four storage pins can hang about 620lb, so it is 1000lb (not including the user). If you use iron plates, you can hang more plates because they are smaller in thickness, and the load capacity can reach 2000lb.

Q: How much weight will the pegs on the sled hold? Says 1500 for the machine, but how much can I actually put on the sled?

It depends on the thickness of your plates. You can fit more Iron plates on then you can bumbers. You can also probably get a few 100-pound plates and really load up the sled.
