Tank Top Wide Strap Shirt Dressy Or Active Wear S

This shirt is exactly what I was hoping it would be--a classic, reasonably well-fitted, and non-see-through white sleeveless shirt. It's very hard to find a classic white tank top like this in stores. It's clear that it is made by women, for women, because this shirt avoids a lot of the typical problems in women's tank tops. (It doesn't show bra straps, it isn't transparent, and the armholes are not too large.) I would definitely order this shirt again, and would consider ordering it in other colors. The only downside is that this top is longer than I would like. I am petite (5'2") and I may have it shortened, because it covers my entire lower torso.

Every woman needs this shirt in her closet! When it says not see through it means it!! I've never had a white shirt that was not see through. If it is a little tighter fitting you can see the shape of the fabric under the shirt but definitely not the color. For example I had on a pair of elastic waist leggings that had ripples and you could see the ripples but not the color. Great for layering and fit as expected. Also very well made.

Was a nice tank. But very see through on me. I’m tan. I tried it on with a bra my skin color, as well as a white one, bra still showed. The fit was good, I bought a medium.. I’m a size 6 and fit accordingly.. wish it wasn’t so see through.

I love the fact that it was made in the USA. It is hard these days to find clothes that are small enough to fit me. But this shirt is even a little too tight. But it will fit great under other shirts which is what it is supposed to do.

Like the quality and feel. I ordered a larger size and it is still tighter than I like. I am not comfortable to wear it without an overshirt.

Fits exactly as I expected, from the description given. This is cotton with 10% spandex-- it is going to be a slimmer, tighter fit. As the seller notes in the description, you need to refer to their size chart (shown in one of the pictures), and not Amazon's generic size chart. I bought it specifically to wear as a layering piece, under chiffon tops or an open camp shirt in warmer months, and sweaters in the winter. I wanted something that wasn't ribbed or didn't look like an undershirt or cheap cotton tank-- and this is it! It's smooth and polished-looking, the seam around the neckline lies thin and flat. I had been afraid that maybe the straps would be too narrow to cover my bra straps, but no worries. The straps are exactly right. I'm 5' 8" and this tank is plenty long on me-- it reaches to low hip area, just as shown on the model. The icing on the cake is that it's made in the USA.

While the quality of material and workmanship of this tank top was perfectly fine, the fit was incredibly tight. I ordered a large (hoping for a loose fit), but the top was so tight, I would be embarrassed to wear it alone. Also, it was too long to be tucked in comfortably and too tight to be worn untucked. I should send it back, but it's not worth the time or energy to do so. I threw the top into the trash yesterday because I already have plenty of cleaning rags.

I have a few issues with sizing. Some people said they ran a little small so I ordered 2. My normal size and I also ordered 1 size larger just to be on the safe side. Even the larger size was way too tight for me in the ribs and stomach. However, when it comes to the chest area, even the smaller size was a little too big. Not falling off of me big. But I buy these specifically to wear under shirts that are slightly see through. And because of the additional layer, I want the tank to fit flat (not snug) but not be all big and lumpy and look funny underneath the shirt. Well that's what these do. They are too big for that. (If you don't mind that they don't lay flat, then this part probably won't be an issue). My last problem was with the straps. They are not what I would consider "wide". They are wider than camisoles that are spaghetti strap thin, but these are just barely wide enough to cover my bra strap. And I know, you are thinking, that's exactly how wide they need to be. Well, yes, that would be perfect if they lined up with where your bra straps are and actually covered them. Maybe it was just the way my shirts were cut. Like at an angle. They were wide enough to cover the whole strap but because of where they were in comparison to my bra strap, I never could get it to cover more than half of my bra strap. If that were the only issue, I would probably deal with it, but it's not. So it is going back. Very disappointed.
