GooglePixel 8 Pro Case - Durable Protection - Stain-Resistant Silicone - Android Phone Case - Bay

I previously had a clear case, which I got because I wanted to preserve the color of the pixel. I love the bay blue! However, it began to yellow (as expected) and wanted to see what the OEM pixel case felt like. I really like it, almost perfectly matches my phone's back (definitely not as deep of a blue as the pictures make it, though)Pros:- Grippy. Case will not slide around ever. This is somewhat of a con because it pulls my pockets out with it, but it lets me prop it up at an angle on a lot of surfaces.- Slim. My old case was definitely thicker, this case is nice and slim so it feels less like I'm using a case.- Quality. The case seems like it is really well build. Buttons are super clicky (although they scratch easily unfortunately), inside is soft touch fabric so you don't scratch your phone, cutouts are perfect for the camera, and the Google logo on the back is a nice touch. The texture of the case is rubber with a slight orange peel to it, which feels really soft and premium.Cons:- Protection. There is not much protection for the camera visor, although this is expected as you can see from the picture. Recommended to find a glass protector for your visor so you don't get scratches. Did not take a star away as this is expected from when purchasing.- Buttons scratch easily, but that is only because they run against the flashlight I carry in the same pocket. Not a fault of the product.

When I bought my new Pixel 8 Pro I also ordered a few cases for it to figure out which one I liked the best. With my Pixel 6 Pro I liked to change it up from time to time so they wouldn't go to waste. I needn't have bothered. This case feels great, has nice accents, and fits like a glove. Even the buttons feel extra-premium compared to other cases I tried, although the underlying buttons on the phone are the same.I'm a little concerned about some of the other reviews claiming it doesn't hold up, but for twenty bucks, it's certainly worth a shot. If it holds up, then it'd be worth full price.

I have tried many google cases over the years and have always been let down. Whether it was too slippery or easily stained fabric I have never liked any of them. UNTIL NOW!PROS: Love the feel and grippiness of this silicone material. Feels very secure in my grip even in single handed use! Slim enough that this cases doesn't add much bulk to the phone and still provides enough protection for medium falls. Just enough of a lip to protect screen and cameras when laying flat on surfaces. I haven't had any issues with chips like others around the usb c port but I wireless charge my phone so I don't use that area much.CONS: While the silicone material is very secure feeling it picks up oil from your skin very fast so you do need to wipe it pretty often if that look bothers you. Price, if you can pick this case up when on sale like on black friday when I did (actually got a second one for backup after I got one free from Google with my pre order of the 8 Pro.) it can be pretty pricey for what you get at regular price. (regular $35 vs sale of $20)

I bought this about a year ago.Pros:- I'm pretty hard on my phones and it survived a few drops with no damage to the phone.- It's slim and looks fantastic. Google logo is nice.- Doesn't get dirty or smudgy. No finger goop stains.- Feels nice and the material helps your phone stay in your pocketCons:- Well it broke. You can see in the picture where the weak point was. I probably took the phone out of this case about 4 times. It broke while taking it out to clean the phone.- The bottom where the holes for the power cord and speakers are is oddly sharp when holding your phone in your hand.After it broke I bought another one. So there's that endorsement.

Update: I have since received my Bay color case from Amazon and it is equally stunning as the Mint color case. At least now, I don't regret not ordering the Bay Pixel 8 Pro.I have purchases several Google cases in the past for my Pixel 4a 5G and I loved the look and feel of those fabric cases. Sure they didn't offer a ton of protection but they were so Googly. Then something happened with the official Pixel 6 cases from Google with warping and discoloration so I was hesitant whether to give these a chance.So I ordered the Coral color for my Pixel 8 Pro which is only available from Google. I loved the look and feel of that coral case that I decided to order from Amazon the Mint and Bay colors. Mint looks SO nice. I love the light green color of that case. These cases have a really nice feel to the rubber texture.

I have gone through two of these cases in the 10 months since I got my Pixel 8 Pro. They both had to be replaced for the same reason: the upper right corner tore. I rarely if ever remove the phone from the case, so I have no idea what's causing the same corner to keep tearing. It's not like I'm pulling on it or putting stress on that spot. The first time it happened I thought it was something I'd done. The fact that it happened twice in the same spot... I will be purchasing a different case as a replacement.Pros:1. Feels nice in your hand.2. This case is sleek and easy to hold.3. The color is nice. I get compliments on it on a pretty regular basis.4. Does a good job protecting the phone from drops.5. Button covers line up perfectly with buttons and are easy to find and press.Cons:1. Not durable. The corners tear.2. Does not protect the edge of the phone. The upper edge of the chrome frame around the screen is pitted and scratched because the case is not quite high enough to protect it.
