Loved the First One
I bought a 2.2 liter one and loved it for my puppy. Then, my daughter got a puppy, and we ordered two more so one could be in the dishwasher while the others were in use. The new puppy chewed the white tabs off of the top piece. I’m disappointed but will still replace it and try again. We still think they’re fabulous water bowls.

More clean than an open bowl - for your dog and floor
This is a great way to keep your dog hydrated safely and cleanly. Dogs need fresh, clean water every day and having this really helps keep it fresher and cleaner than an open bowl. Our dog has really appreciated having this despite it being harder to gulp down puddles of water at a time. The slowing has been great as our guy loves to take huge gulps that sometimes cause him to cough up a bit of water after being too eager. This also helps the prevent the mess he creates when he takes those huge gulps. It’s very easy to take apart to clean which is necessary since there are many surfaces on this.

Didn't do the trick
I got this to replace another "dripless" water bowl that I bought at a discount store and loved (until my dog tipped it over and chewed part of it up). I bought this one because of the size and the fact that you can take it apart to clean each piece. Several others that I looked at had comments about water catching in the floating part on top and not being able to empty it.My dogs had no problem drinking from it, but there is actually too much water in the top piece and my dogs still wind up dripping water all over the floor as much as they do with a standard water bowl. Sadly, I am returning this and will continue to look for another replacement.

Versatile, easy to use, indoor/outdoor
So far I've been using this awesome stainless steel no spill bowl outside for group playtime with my dogs and their visiting friends. I love it. Aside from a few impulsive puppies who like to and persevere with the experiment, "can I knock this over make a mess", I've found it quite robust at handling the masses that take water from it happily while in play mode. It's very easy to clean, I just hose it, brush it with a little natural cleaner, rinse and refill. It's also very easy to put the top on (just push it down past the little rubber edges on two opposing sides of the bowl), which previous other similar models of bowls I have tried in the past, and does the job of keeping dog chins from dripping. Once the freezing weather returns, I'll bring it in as an extra indoor bowl. Very pleased with it all the way around. It's by far the easiest to use and clean and for that I'm grateful!

Ugly, but works!
The bowl does what it's touted to do and holds a significant amount of water. It's not 100% unspillable of course. My dog managed to catch a drop leash around our bowl and send water flying everywhere. That's an extreme case. It works very well within normal, reasonable parameters for use.If it is important to you that all parts are stainless steel, please be aware that both the floating disc and latch-on outer rim are plastic. The disc probably needs to be plastic in order to float. All but one of the latches fit securely on mine. The one that's weak suggests that the rest may follow suit at some point. This set also comes with a floppy grey silicone disc to place under the bowl to help keep it from sliding around. I guess it might help a little, but it makes the whole unit even uglier and collects all human and pet hair alike. Kind of gross.Overall, I like this bowl well enough, but I do wish it was a little more attractive.

Does not work
Dislike that our German Shepard still gets water all over our wooden floors. The only thing I like is that I don’t have to refill her water bowl as often. Not worth the price.

Substantial watering bowl that should last for years to come
This water bowl is great for getting our dogs to slow down while drinking water, and there isn't nearly as big of a continuous puddle around the water bowl anymore (there's still some water of course, but much less than with a regular bowl). The large capacity of the water bowl is nice as well- no more filling up the water bowl multiple times a day. It also seems pretty easy to clean/intuitive to take apart and put back together (the directions recommend cleaning it twice a week which seems reasonable). We have tried the automatic watering system in the past (with the big gallon jugs that sit on top of the dispenser) and the dogs made such a huge mess with that so these slow "watering" bowls are much better option for us personally. I also like that the bowl is stainless steel- seems a little more sanitary and like it may hold up better over time than the plastic versions of these bowls. Also, our dogs had no issues switching to this type of bowl - as soon as they saw us pour water in it they knew what to do.I will say that it seems too big and cumbersome to travel with as it states in the description though (I pictured being able to use this in the car on road trips and that doesn't seem very practical).
