Great product! No issues!
50 Pack Acoustic Foam Panels,2"X 12" X 12." I wanted to wait until I purchased my second set to do this review so that it would be honest and accurate. To be clear, these are not for sound proofing...they are for sound absorption just like a sponge absorbing water. They absorb room reflections but do not block sound. They're foam. One example is for vocals to keep the reverb in the room from coming into the mic. This will not keep noise like cars passing by, helicopters flying above, HVAC, or other noise from coming in hence, they will not block sound and soundproof your area. This is something that you as the consumer need to understand and accept BEFORE you purchase these panels. As sound absorption panels, they are good quality panels and work great! Also, to be clear, I am in no way telling, suggesting, or recommending anyone to NOT purchase these panels. They are good quality panels and I have had no issues with them!First thing to know that it clearly says that the adhesive tape does not come with the panels...you have to purchase your own. These are NOT self-adhesive!Second, when using the adhesive tape like 3m, you will need some additional adhesive like Gorilla Glue as foam doesn't always stick to the adhesive tape or the wall.Third, be patient! The best method is to let them set out for at least three days. The first two days is for the "smell" to air out while getting air in. The third day is an extra measure to examine them to see if any forming needs to be done.Pic 1: When then arrived and after I took the package out of the Amazon Box.Pic 2: When I took them out of the main wrapping. There are two vacuum sealed packs.Pic 3: When I took them out of the main wrapping. Since it's now unsealed, air started coming in and they already started expanding. Note: They expand quickly so prepare to get them out of the back quick!Pic 4: What they looked like 5 minutes later. Some expanded in full and some didn't and are deformed. There are two to each "stack".Pic 5: One of the "stacks" that was still somewhat compressed and deformed.Pic 6: After I pulled apart the stack that was still somewhat compressed. One panel.Pic 7. The other panel. Notice on both panel the triangles are deformed.Pic 8: Me beginning to pull the triangles gently.Pic 9: Me fully and gently pulling the triangles gently. As you can see, it's already getting it's form back. For the panels that are deformed, gently pulling the foam to get it to form helps get more air in and they will get their form quicker! This part takes patience! Those that said the panels would not take shape or stay deformed are not doing this to help shape the panels!Pic 10: All 50 Panels laid out and getting air All of this was done within one hour. They still need air out to completely form. Although the directions state 24 hours, it's better to wait 3 days. On my first set, I sprayed some Febreze to further take out the smell and will do the same to these. This does not take away their absorption properties.

Fits the Bill to a T
First off let me say when you read reviews make sure it's the product you are buying. Secondly when reading please understand that these are not intended for sound proofing, they are for sound deadening. You will not stop sound from entering or exiting your room. For the intended purpose they do cut down on echo and room ambience as they are suppose too. I first purchased the 12 pack in order to place on the door in my music room. Then had the idea of creating a vocal booth out of the door way, so I bought 24 more leaving me 6 to place on the walls in the room. Along with a couple of well placed curtains on the window and closet doors the room has become perfect. No problem with them expanding upon opening. In fact I could have used them right away as they expanded immediately. I did wait the 24 hours however. All are the same size and in perfect condition. Great adhesive and the paper comes off easily. Even sticking well on my eggshell textured walls. Take negative reviews with a grain of salt and consider the reviewers knowledge in the matter.

Gets the job done
The foams panels are decent quality, honestly better than I thought they were going to be. Getting them to expand was a huge challenge. I had 160 panels, so I knew it was going to be a huge project to begin with. So I thought I could save some time and energy by soaking half in water and letting the other half sit out and expand. The half I soaked, turned out good, I sat them out with a fan blowing on them to dry and looks great. I waited for the others to expand as directed, for 24 hours. But they did not expand properly, half of the peaks in the center did not expand, and the ones that did expand, were thinner than the ones I had soaked in water. Also when I was soaking the panels, about 75% of them did not expand very well and had to massage them to their normal state, each peak had to be massaged on each panel. Most likely because they were too compressed, 1 pack of panels wasn’t as compressed and started expanding almost instantly, while the others were a huge chore. But after I finally got all panels dried, they were perfect. Thicker than I was expecting them to be, not gonna lie I was worried at first about the quality, but I am quite impressed. If you’re on a budget and want to help eliminate sound, they work fairly well. I personally used them in my apartment on one wall in my living room to help rid of sound, I’m a night shifter and am up all night long so helps keep the neighbors happy. Also quick note, they work better if you cover the entire area with the foam panels, example, an entire wall, from floor to ceiling. They don’t work well in patches.

Really work.
We got these for the help on wall opposite our kids’ gaming and music instrument set ups, they’ve done the job! They also improve the sound in the room by reducing echo. I made them look like head boards behind their beds and they go down to the floor. I also put them behind their door where they play darts. These have held up more than a few months and feel quality. These come with mounting stickers too. I always arrange and stick these to hard poster board, NEVER directly to the walls/doors. You can also stick them behind photos. poster frames, the back of book cases so they’re more hidden. The kids like the look of them and we’ve felt the difference.

Not exactly what they says.
The media could not be loaded. They are not pasting panels. You have to apply some glue solution to paste it. And the corners are also not angled. Corners are 90°. Not satisfied with the product.
