POTMETAL? rounded on the strut bolts on my ‘02 Subaru
I bought this to remove the attachments where the strut meets the spindle on an ‘02 Subaru Outback. Having a 6point one-piece socket at 19mm was essential for this purpose as I’d need a durable tool capable of withstanding all the torque I got.Within a quarter turn, the socket began to wear inside and the corners rounded on the bolt.Not sure what to blame here but it was immediately clear that this tool would not create the results that I need for the task at hand.
