If you like blues it's a great film to watch

Everybody's gotta pay their dues one way or another.

As advertised and on time, great film for the lbues fan.

Just one of those movies we’ll worth seeing, particularly if you’re a blues fan.

What’s not to like

This is a classic tale of good triumphant over evil. Flitting between a backdrop of 1920s Mississippi and 1980s New York, two blues players young and old team up to win back the soul of a tired old man tortured by his past. There are a few sprinklings of love thrown in for good measure but no real surprises await the audience other than a refreshing lack of violence, explosions and murders. The real treat in this film is the soundtrack of timeless classical tunes twisted magically with old time blues by Steve Vai and Ry Cooder, acted brilliantly by Ralph Machio. A real treat awaits you at the end with one of the best guitar solos ever filmed. Enjoy.
