I used these to build a road case for my DJ gear.. They worked well, the metal is a bit thin.. so you need to know that going into it.. This is a this, tinny, metal.. But the issue on my side was the poor workmanship of the road case, not the quality of the latches... so... I would say they are priced appropriately for sure.

Great for wooden boxes

Smooth working and solid material. Should work good for shelves up to 8 maybe 10 inches deep anyway.

Flimsy, well made, just too thin for anything larger than a smallish box. If your project is, say, a small 10” x 20” x 5” box, then these are ok, the finish is excellent. Just too thin and flimsy for larger projects.

I am making some custom boxes for my tools and these latches are working well. They are strong and easy to install.

These latches have Superior holding power and a great complement to any project would purchase again I would give him a thousand stars if I could
