You have to take the clear cover off, otherwise it limits what you can see. Works well

Bad quality
As a medical skin care professional for 40 years, I purchased this to help my patients see the sun damage in their skin. the bulbs are so weak they show nothing. I have owned professional lamps in my earlier years and know what a good quality woods lamp can do. this lamp is useless.

Can't real see the colors on skin with machine
