Nice tea blend for throat tickle
It's allergy season and today I started to notice an annoying throat tickle that doesn't feel like the start of a cold, but more like some drainage that makes me feel like I want to cough even though nothing productive happens. So I made a cup of this tea to try to help. Opening the pouch and taking out the teabag, there was a little bit of light tea dust that scattered on my counter and I could see a little more at the bottom of the pouch. It said to brew for about 5 minutes but I don't mind a strong or even a little bitter tea, so I just left the tea bag in there as I drank it. I had to look carefully on the box to find the full ingredient list (on the dark green panel in several languages) and there are quite a few good herbs in there. I am usually good at picking out different flavor notes but this one blends together into its own flavor. I get some minty notes and can taste a hint of chamomile, but thankfully the chamomile is light since it's not a favorite of mine. After drinking most of a cup, the tickle is still there but feels a little bit soothed. And just drinking the tea is relaxing, which is good when you are under the weather. This would also be a nice evening cup, though it does have green tea in the ingredient list, if you are worried about any caffeine after dinner.

Works and is an all natural medicinal tea.
I sleep with the windows open and the weather changed to cold and wet overnight and I woke up with a sore throat and slightly stuffy nose. Made a cup of this tea and it it eased my symptoms. I have a medicinal herb garden and grow marshmallow, peppermint, lemon balm, and chamomile. All good plants for inflamation, relaxation, and even antimicrobial. The slippery elm bark and marsmallow root in this tea forms a mucilage which coats and soothes the throat. After brewing a cup of tea, you can see and feel the mucilage in the bag. The taste is mild and the tea is light in color. The dominate notes to me are the lemon balm, peppermint and chamomile. The memthol is in the steam coming out of the cup and helped clear my sinuses.I appreciate the fact Nutra disclosed all the ingredients in their tea and the fact that the tea bags are biodegradable. It also has green tea as an ingredient, so the tea contains a small amount of caffeine. They say one tea bag is good for 2 or 3 reuses.

Flavor
I have had several teas over 25 years. This is very very mild. I was looking for a tea that would benefit the throat whether it was sore or needed support for vocal lessons. I have found other tees to be more beneficial and flavorful and soothing.

Love the Ingredients
This is a nice tea. The ingredients are a very nice combination. The flavor is a bit mild at first, but it does get stronger the longer you steep it. I like the scent and the flavor and it does feel soothing to me. Each tea bag is individually packaged which is really nice for keeping it fresh and for sharing or bringing along with you. I did notice some fine powder when I opened the tea as you can see in the photo, but it’s fine with me. A little powdered herbs won’t hurt. I’m sure I’ll be pulling this out during the winter months when the bugs go around.

mild taste, no obvious benefit
This tea includes several ingredients I've used like slippery elm but either these are not water soluble and useful as a tea, or there is just too little of them in a tea bag to do much good. The taste is very mild, and the peppermint helps balance it toward the pleasant side. I liked drinking it just fine but did not notice much benefit to my scratchy throat and mild cough due to allergies. It is mildly soothing, I agree, but not anymore than just a hot mug of tea with honey would be. Maybe I expected too much---like the help I used to get from slippery elm throat lozenges before they disappeared from my health food store.I applaud the company for listing the ingredients and even giving the percentage of some of them. I wish Amazon required that of all food, teas, and cosmetic products. So, all in all, a pleasant, mildly soothing and mildly tasting tea, but just not as good for the throat and cough in my experiences as the right lozenges.

It works
It works just like it says. It is just as described. Has a light pleasant flavor. Easy to sip and enjoy. Very similar to the “throat coat” tea.

Unique Flavor but not Minty/Menthol
MMMMM….tea! My favorite daily routine! And this was quite a unique one!So I got a bag out and started to steep it. I noticed right away that the bags are a little fuller than normal. Maybe that's the difference between UK and American made. Cuz ya know….them British love their tea! Haha! I should be British! -_-Flavor wise, this was unique! It tasted quite green! I know this sounds weird…but it kind of reminded me of the scent of the hay my parents get for their horses. Lol. That's not a bad thing….the hay smells fresh and amazing! For some reason I thought it would be minty from the eucalyptus (eucalyptus is menthol like, right? Or am I wrong on that?) but it wasn't at all. It's still good though, and quite unique. And yes, it definitely is soothing on the throat, though I think most tea generally is.Overall, solid! I would prefer more of a minty/menthol flavor but it is what it is!
