Leaves a fine surface ready to receive paint.
Sprays well and fills small lines and cracks to ready the surface for the finish paint. Definitely produces a better final product than not using it.

Good but cheaper and in stock in stores at home depot
Used on auto bond work so had to be perfect. Good primer. Same price or even lower at Home Depot. I ended getting my Clear Gloss at Home depot because 1)In stock on shelves 2) less expensive Tham Amazon.

Great coverage, easy to sand very DIY friendly
Love this product lays on real thick and dries in about 15 to 20 minutes. It sounds really well. I painted a metal fridge with it and was able to cover the whole thing with one can definitely recommend it as a primer for any projects where you’ll be painting over metal surfaces.

this is a bad Rustoleum product which is rare for Rustolem
i bought two of these, i LOVE LOVE LOVE Rustoleum paint products. BUT, neither spray can worked at all! no matter how much i shook this product, it sprayed only momentarily then stopped. it was instantly permanently clogged and was 100% full. BOTH cans did the same thing so i literally got not 4 square inches of primer before they were both clogged. No matter what i did i cannot uncclog this thing. Buy any Rustoleum product other than this one. the one that works well and i recommend is Rustoleum Stops Rust Reformer

Good prime ways to use and dried quick
Dried very quick and smooth. Provided a nice prime for hinges. It has been several months since I painted and it appears durable- no chipping or flaking noted.

Great primer good price worked as it should time will tell but haven't had a problem yet.
