It was an unusually mild temperature, so I didn't wear an overcoat, but under normal winter events, I would need one.The dress is very good quality, especially compared to more expensive themed dresses that I have previously purchased. The sleeves were tight on my upper arm, but that's my only complaint. Otherwise, the fit was perfect. As the picture indicates, I did wear a hoop skirt under the dress.The dress ironed-out nicely from shipping. The bottom got dirty from the event. I have since washed it and dried it with my normal laundry. It washed/dried great. I'll only be wearing it once a year, so it will not be heavily used.I do recommend this for someone looking for a reasonably priced Victorian outfit.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my first masquerade ball. I was nervous about the quality and the fit, but both were great. The dress was really well done for the price, it was worth every penny. I'm 5'5" and about 220 lbs and the dress was a bit bit big but the extra room came in handy when I wanted to adjust the back. It pulled the sleeve up the tighter I did the back, so it was a good thing I had room. Also, the dress was very long for me, but I made it work.

This dress is expensive for the kind of dress you get. 1st and foremost, I recommend getting some kind of petticoat to go underneath as it doesn't come with one. The dress is really long otherwise, because it's meant for something to be underneath and still reach the floor.The fabric is really nice. It's silky and smooth, but very thin. I feel like I'm going to need to wear something underneath it if I'm wearing it out (which I will be).The corset backing is a really pretty feature, but if you order a size up (like I was originally seeing in the reviews), it gets lost. I have to pull it so tight together so make it fit nicely and the detail gets lost.The lace on the sleeves is kind of scratchy but it stays puffed out so it doesn't really bother me too much.The neck piece is so tight around my neck! I literally feel like I'm being choked. I wear an xl/2x and ordered a 3x based on the reviews and the neck piece just seems to be standard sizing. My neck isn't even that big...Overall I'm happy with this purchase. This was the only seller that could get me my dress in time for Halloween guaranteed. Other sellers have this same dress cheaper but it was too far our for my comfort.

I am 5'7" and weigh 170 pounds with a 41 inch bust. I searched and searched for the right dress and right size. I ordered this in large, as the returns were free, if I needed to go up a size. It fits like a glove. Very nice dress for the price. I added black inside the bottom of the sleeves, as I didn't like the white showing when I lifted my arms. I have had many positive comments already and love wearing it. Off I go, Christmas caroling. Merry Christmas!

Firstly - I am about 5 6' and weigh more than I should - I have a belly and am about 20 lbs over my ideal weight. My bra size is 38-40 D. I got this dress in a few colors and sizes in order to see what worked best for me and knew I would return the rest. The best part of my experience apart from the fabulous quality - is the seller's customer service which I will get to after telling you about the dress itself.I ordered the red, blue, and purple. The large fit but was a tad too tight and very hard to get on and off. The XL is perfect. The fact that there is a tie in the back makes this perfectly adjustable. I ordered a hoop skirt as well and that makes a huge difference in the look. Once I put the hoop on, it made the whole dress flare out and looks amazing.The quality is superb. I need this for a costume but this is definitely not your regular cheap costume material. Very beautifully made with attention to detail and the design is stunning.I returned the ones that didn't fit and although at first I was sure I wanted the purple one - I ended up liking the blue much more. But, the blue one wasn't prime and I needed to get it within two weeks. When I added it to my cart the dates given would have been after the event I needed it for. So - I emailed the seller and asked if I would get it on time (basically giving them 2 weeks to ship to me). They replied within hours and said yes, it would arrive on time.So - I paid $8 for shipping (not the expedited shipping amount of $24) and not only did I get it within the two weeks - but it actually showed up within one week!I adore the blue dress and the seller customer service is exactly what you want from a good seller. Will definitely buy from them in the future if I need anything like this again.If you're hesitating bcs of size, quality, service...don't!! You won't be disappointed. I am a teacher in an elementary school and my favorite part is dressing up for the holidays. I bought this because of the value for the price, the color, and style. The color was very rich and the size was perfect. There were no zippers to mess with, as it laced up the back. It was a nice soft fabric, but it had very little stretch to it. I was exactly what I wanted, and I would recommend the purchase. I’m looking forward to changing it up and wearing it again, maybe next time as a vampire, or throw on a powdered wig. Great versatile costume.

Dress fits fine, however, the lace ups for the back were missing so had to buy laces for it. Good for the price.
