LQSZ Doll and Girl Matching Nightgown Outfit Pajamas Nightie Nightgown for Girls and Dolls Clothes

To begin, I'd like to correct misleading information that was given by others who did not comprehend what they were purchasing, so that you can make an informed decision based on accuracy and experience. FIRST - DO NOT expect to receive a doll with this order. Nowhere does it state or imply that you will receive anything other than a child's nightgown and a matching doll's nightgown. SECOND - The doll nightgowns are NOT for 18" "baby dolls." When I say, "baby dolls" I am referring to dolls that are modeled after infants and use such items as bottles, diapers, and baby food. Their proportions are all wrong for these nightgowns; particularly the girth of their midsections. These nightgowns are for dolls modeled after children and adults with average proportions fitting into the 18" doll category. As a doll collector and mother, these matching gowns were a perfect way to fulfill two needs, at a savings. Currently, I have 108 18" dolls that fall under 6 popular brands. Even though there are slight differences in the thicknesses of the dolls' torsos and limbs, and the sizes of their heads, these cute, little gowns fit all of them very well! So my American Girl, Our Generation, and My Life As dolls are just as comfortable as my Adora, Journey Girl, and Disney ILY dolls in these nightgowns. For both the girl and doll versions, the colors are vibrant and the graphics are well-executed. I love how the little butterfly sleeves and flounce at the bottoms add a decorative and charming touch. My daughter has a belly and already developing on top. Normally, she wears size 16-18 t-shirts. Since I was going to buy these gowns for my dolls whether or not their was an appropriate size for my daughter, I ordered the largest available in size 11-12, just to see if we could get lucky. The 11-12 works out better than expected. Sure they fit the contours of her belly, but in no way is she uncomfortable, painfully constricted, or having any trouble with them cutting in under the arms. The seams aren't busting and there is no problem buttoning them in the back. Some have complained about the quality of the fabric. I do not have the same negative opinion on that. They do not feel like cheap costume fabric, which was my only concern before purchasing. All of the gowns that I have received look and feel like the normal, expected quality of such products made for the warmer months or cool weather periods. They are not made of fleece or flannel, so I don't know what kind of thickness others were expecting, but these are perfectly fine in thickness and softness, plus the stitch-quality is great too. They have good stretchability and the doll version also has a single-button closure above a keyhole on the back. I should add that I have dressed and undressed my dolls in these gowns both head first and feet first. I have had no problems doing it either way. It is simply a personal preference according to the doll you are handling. So overall, I am very happy with my purchases and I have every intention of buying lots more of these wonderful, matching sets.

This is what my toddler always asks for to go to sleep in. It's cute and fun. Very comfortable. No complaints. Stretchy material. She's had a year with it already and it still fits perfect.

Fit well. My little one loves matching her doll. She's been wearing it often for a year and it still looks new.

Is adorable but doll gown could be a little larger. My 5 yr old granddaughter has great difficulty dressing doll cause so snug.

This was by far my daughter’s favorite present. It fits both of them perfect. It looks like it falls off her shoulder in one of the pictures I attached to the review but it doesn’t do that now. Not sure if it fits better after washing and drying it or if she just needed to adjust it in that photo. She is wearing it tonight which is what made me think to do a review and it is still soft. It is a silky type material. It sits perfect on her shoulders and her baby doll has been wearing her gown since the first time she put it on. My daughter said we can’t change her baby dolls nightgown lol. I plan on buying a couple more for Valentines Day. Too cute! Also, the are a good price. It cost the same price for just her nightgown usually. With this she gets a bonus one for her babys.

My eight year-old granddaughter was thrilled with this. It was well made, as well as as comfortable and soft. And the doll dress did fit her American Girl doll quite well.
