😍😍
a few years back i tried some mochi and i became obsessed. after realizing i couldn't buy it in any stores near me i got super upset. fast forward to about a month ago, i was telling my friend this story and he mentioned that you could just buy it online and i felt really stupid. he sent me the link to this one and i bought one package on the spot. and HOH MY GOD.if you've tried this stuff before, then you know. If you haven't, it is a delicious treat that's squishy, soft and filled with a jelly that is not-too-sweet. it's great for children who are teething or anyone with sore teeth. since then, amazon gifted me with one of those auto-pay buttons on my homepage that i can just click, and it will charge my account to and send to me automatically. it's both a blessing and a curse.i was skeptical about buying food products online, but it came in perfect condition with no tears or exposures along the plastic. the mochi wasn't molded or bad at all!

Best store-bought mochi brand I've tried
I was introduced to mochi this year by a Japanese friend and for whatever reason I just loved it. There's a store around here that sells the Yuki + Love brand, and they had strawberry but it's been out of stock. I like green tea too even though it has essentially no taste. For me it's mostly about the texture so know that -- if you don't like the texture you won't like any of these. I happen to love it, and I especially love it FROZEN. These arrived today and they are definitely better than the other brand I was buying. They are decent size, almost ping pong ball, so I guess at just over a dollar each that's decent... They are very filling (I mean, they're rice starch and sugar and chemicals, God knows) but what I like is that the filling isn't overwhelming like a lot of other brands. The jam (?) that's inside is good, and it's not overpowering, it's just enough to enhance the strawberry-ness of it all. Someone referred to there being marshmallow in these and I guess that's what it is, but it is such a thin layer I think it's there just to add chewiness. This is so far the best brand I have purchased and I will get them again. I got them in melon too but haven't tried yet.

Lol 🤣😆🤣
I suppose humans no longer package these items AT AMAZON ... Because, and I hope, there's no way a human could honestly say let's package a SOFT and squishy pack of Mochi with 50lbs of dog food and 20 lbs of cat food ALL in ONE BOX 🙄🤷🤔 . This package sat on the porch for a few days with the HEAVY sticker clearly showing and upon opening well duhhh the mochi was under the Animal foods... flat . This is for my Lil's stocking stuffer, he likes mochi , even made up a song for Mochi 😇 😂 too late to return so I ordered another but this time I ordered it by itself as to not get it packaged with something else. TASTY MOCHI THO. My lil one enjoys to savour the flavors of this special treat. He will still enjoy the squished ones too he's very accepting 😜 as a mama I'm like come on now??

Delightful
The mochi was soft and lightly covered in powdered sugar. They are sweet and chewy. I was worried I wouldn't like the taste, since mochi is candy made out of rice, but it was more like eating rather large gummies

Better Off Getting Them Fresh
I don't know what I was expecting when I bought these. You're better off either getting them fresh, or learn how to make them yourself.

Sweet Daifuku Rice Cakes
My daughters class was having a Flat Stanley celebration and parents were invited to bring in foods from the different countries that the class had sent their Flat Stanley. We had sent Flat Stanley to relatives in Japan and we needed some Japanese snacks for the school party. On my trips to Japan I enjoyed Mochi rice cakes, so I thought that these would be great for the kids to try. They are not like a lot of traditional U.S. types of snacks, so they were perfect with a different taste for the American palate. The kids loved them and it was great to have them try different types of food from other countries. As for this brand of Daifuku...they were great. I thought that they had a good flavor. Try them.
