Very compact and convenient
It took some getting used to, but now I really like them. I’ve been using them for 3 weeks. The convenience and compact size is hard to ignore. Sure, they are a tad less comfortable, but with the other benefits, it is such a tiny inconvenience. You will never get the comfort of a form fitting set of frames, but that is what you get with something this compact. Even then, it is such a marginal discomfort that you don’t even notice it much because of the thin and flexible metal frame. It does also look a bit boxy, but again you trade looks for convenience. The lenses are short, but enough to read most anything I use them for. Again, convenience. The case it comes with is fairly easy to use and quickly pull out the glasses. It does NOT scratch them that I can tell. The main drawback is that grabbing the frames to pull them out is a bit difficult with a small section to grab and trying not to touch the lenses, but you get use to it.The case and glasses together are actually so compact that it sits flat at the bottom of some larger pockets. I have this with my suit coat’s inside pocket. I still wouldn’t change it, but you will have to note that for yourself. All in all, I am sold on this pair of glasses. I will probably make them my staple set for traveling around with me. I have another I use at work that are more comfortable, but I honestly use the Skyoak ones most.

Great reader glasses for up close work or reading
Very light-weight readers. I put silicone nose pads on these glasses and they are perfect, so I am not using the eyeglass case (they probably won't fit due to the nosepads I added). These glasses are a better quality than the pair of readers I bought at a local reputable store for $30. They don't distort as much. I just handle with care so as not to bend the temples or the hinges. But I am usually very careful when handling any pair of glasses. Nice product!

Great pair of glasses!
This is the fourth pair I have bought for my husband. They are great for travel beause they are so thin and fit into his pocket or briefcase so easily. They are easy to get the glasses in and out he loves the subtle hint of color…not too flashy. They are very clear and the magnification is exact. He always gets asked where he got them when he uses them. A really neat and useful concept. Highly recommend.

Great Quality just not for me.
These are excellent glasses and are very stylish.I needed ultra slim glasses for my small purses but the lenses were way too small and the nose pieces were uncomfortable for me but the quality is great and may work for others.

I will be with you always!
I am out doing thing all the time and don't carry magnifiers with me because they can break. These are compact, small and highly durable while in the case. So now I can keep them with me crawling under vehicles or whatever. Saves a lot of frustration!

Slim excellent glasses
Love these glasses! I just had cataract surgery and still need reading glasses. These glasses are slim and so compact to carry. The lenses are excellent with blue light blocking.

The best reading glasses ever made in my opinion
I love these super thin glasses in the hard plastic case. It fits beautifully in my pocket and they don’t break or bend or get smudged. They are the best reading glasses I’ve ever had.

Good case; lenses have annoying yellowish tint
EDIT after 1 year of ownership: I am knocking off one star because these glasses do not like to sit securely on your head. Bend over, lean over, they start sliding off. The arms are totally straight, without curvature at the ends to sit more securely behind your ears. The more I wear them, the less I like them. I was hoping they would be ideal for travel given the small case size, but alas for an upcoming three-month trip to India and Thailand, I will carry them only as back-up glasses.ORIGINAL: I have mixed feelings about these glasses. On the plus side, the case is brilliant – that’s why I bought these glasses. The case has proven durable in 10 months of use, kept in my left back pocket whenever I’m out of the house. An aside -- I would STRONGLY recommend that reading glasses merchants rethink the cases they supply, because most of them are dreadful. The two-piece cases bend when in a pocket, and the horizontal flip-top cases bend, too.A vertical flip-top case is the perfect design for a reading glasses case, but virtually no manufacturer offers such a case. There’s one out there (brand called Covesato) that is way too thick to store comfortably in a rear pocket, because the glasses are needlessly large. Oh, and you can find vertical flip-top cases of appropriate width and depth for foldable glasses… but I don’t like foldable glasses, not at all.Alas, I did have a perfect case – vertical flip top for standard size reading glasses, not too big, not too small. I bought it at a drug store in South Africa in 2015, and happily used it until late 2022, when I lost it on a boat cruise in Vietnam. Since then I’ve spent hours hunting for such a case, fruitlessly. But I did find these glasses with case from “Skyoak,” and it’s the best option for now. The glasses themselves are high quality, comfortable and light. On the downside, the lenses are tinted slightly yellow with a coating meant to protect from blue light when viewing digital screens. That introduces an unnatural hue to everything -- including digital screens. The lenses are also slightly curved, which imparts a bit of vision warping at the edges. As a result, I wouldn’t recommend these are your “main” reading glasses. They’re good for when you’re out of the house, whether grocery shopping or on a three-week vacation. Another downside, the design is proprietary – if you happened to break the glasses, good luck finding a pair slim enough to fit in the case. Have to buy glasses and case from Skyoak again. So get a two-pack if you tend to break or lose things.I use these Skyoaks only when out of the house. At home / office, I have a large-ish and more comfortable pair of reading glasses for the computer, books, magazines, etc.
