Weird Looking, But Works!
About 15 years ago, I had both eardrums rupture. I ended up with two ear tube surgeries with complications that impacted my hearing, taste, and other issues. Last year, I had eardrum perforations that ended up with me having to go through a $40k eustachian tube dilation surgery. I received no benefit from any of the procedures. Moreover, my hearing diminished significantly. I would need a bone conductor device if I wanted to get my hearing back to what it was 10 years ago. Unfortunately, bone conductors are hard to acquire and they're very expensive. I had lost all hopeOn a lark, I decided to try this goofy contraption out. Man! This is probably the most life-impacting thing that has happened to me in a long time.It came in a tin similar to Altoids mints. There was a weird plastic piece and a few white toy balloons. The instructions seemed almost too simple. Really, I thought I was being conned. Nothing about it appeared to me like a valid medical device. But, I gave it a chance and I am glad I did!My only real complaint is the instructions are a bit vague on how often you are to change out the balloons. I have concluded that you should change out the toy balloons at least once a day as the elasticity diminishes over time. Using nothing more than a toy balloon and a simple plastic piece to inflate the balloon with the nose, it is the craziest setup I have ever seen. I would suggest having a sip of water before each use as the swallowing exercises can be difficult. They say you only have to blow it up to the size of a grapefruit but I found it hard to blow a balloon up that small. Then again, it is seemingly made for children, so they don't have the lung capacity that I do after years of playing the tuba and swimming.Trust me, they say to give it three weeks of continuous use doing the treatment for three times a day. You'll need to do at least three weeks if not six. Buy a bunch of toy balloons. Be consistent. For me, my eureka moment came when I had a few seconds one night that I could hear. The next week, I had a few hours on two separate days. Take your wins....celebrate them. The more wins you get, the more invested you will become in keeping up with the treatments. Before using this device, I was constantly going back and forth to the ENT with reports of no benefit after the surgery. ENTs aren't cheap either! After the dilation procedure failed, the ENT told me the only other choice was ear tubes...which he said wouldn't probably work. After doing treatment with this device for a month, the ENT was amazed and discharged me from his care. He'd even said that he saw them at conventions and didn't believe the claims being made by the salesmen. After hearing my story, he was going to look into them for his own practice.Naturally, my story is unique to me. Not everyone will get the same benefit. I know how down one can get when the medical system fails you. Still, you definitely need to talk with your doctor before trying something like this. Had I known about this device earlier, I could have saved me thousands of dollars, weeks off from work, my hearing, and more by just blowing up a balloon three times a day with my nose. It sounds stupid...it looks as bad as it sounds...but you get amazing results.

Way better than the other well known brand. Works!
I used to use the other brand and they started being cheap with their product. Ballon’s wouldn’t last, came in a cardboard box, sent 5 balloons instead of 10. So I decided to try this. Hoping for the best. And it has delivered. My ears pop first try. Which is unusual. Balloons are strong. Comes in a tin. I recommend this to anyone who has problems with their ears.

Works better than I expected I guess?
I went to a doc with just uncloggable ears after I had the misfortune to literally come down sick, in real time, on a six hour overnight cross country flight post funeral. One of my beloved grieving family members must have been a real germ monkey, and as I sat on the already really undesireable flight I could feel myself "coming down with it," largely because I couldn't sleep anyway. The descent was the worst I'd ever had, and I was beating on my ears like a crazy monkey all the way down - not a problem I normally have - and seriously could not clear my ears for three months after. I had tried all kinds of decongestants and this was the last thing I hadn't heard of when I went to the ENT.It works? Pretty well? Like, you'll pop a drum, but I'd say, try the instructions - they're about like, holding breath and swallowing - but you may not even need the swallow. I found sometimes that you could actually pop your ear then like, if you kept swallowing, UN pop it again, and feel worse so like, just blow into the thing and if you feel a pop stop there, don't keep going, as the instructions apply. Same, if it doesn't pop, keep going. It will feel weird. You can reuse balloons but they do stretch out, so only a few times. Please clean the little plastic knobby. You will get snot in it. Anyway, for a simple as it is, if you get stuffy ears it's worth it. It isn't 100% a permanent fix but it's easy relief in a moment.

Sweet
I just tried it and I’m honestly trying to hear the ringing in my ears that I’ve heard for the last 20 years

Try both methods shown
There are two different methods shown on the directions on this Amazon description page vs the instructions that come with the box. Try them both. The one that has you swallow 3 times worked on my right side the one that has you release the air back worked on the left side… go figure.
