While I love these little tea cups, I will say the original shipment arrived mostly broken. They are packed in a thin cardboard box with bubble wrap that had no air left in the bubbles. The entire box was also wrapped in thin plastic wrap and shipping in a paper envelope. For a fragile item like this, I was surprised how little protection it had. Amazon quickly sent me a replacement set which arrived safe and completely unbroken. These hold the perfect amount for a strong masala chai! I love the shape and simple design. If your chai is too hot, the cups will heat up and be too hot to hold, so that's the only concern is to allow the chai to cool a little before serving in these.

They came broken in pieces except for one so I’m returning them. Packaging needs to be better. The actual box came in a bigger Amazon box without any cushion. Must have been rattling around. The one cup that survived is too small. I wish they were bigger. Only holds maybe half cup of liquid. 😞 The cup is beautifully made. I like the design.
