The item turned in and seemed to charge but we couldn’t get it to vibrate. Also the words on the device and the instructions are Asian language characters not in English.

Returning...poorly written directions.

Update after 365 days of use:I cannot quantify if this device does anything for my sleep. It does not help with my middle-of-the-night wake-ups. But it somehow appears to have a calming effect during the time when I am waiting to fall asleep. This seems to be similar to the famous counting of sheep or clouds, or listening to a calming story or music. But it does seem to give me more energy throughout the day.Pros:-Pulsing electrical signal may have a calming (T1) effect or energizing (T3) effect-Finding the acupuncture point at the underside of the forearm is easy and no force is needed to keep the wrist band attached. This is much better than with handheld egg-shaped devices. I tried one of those and it was almost impossible to find the acupuncture point and keep my hand closed. A bit of water or moisture on the skin will increase conduction.-Has USB-C charging plug-Has rechargeable battery-After one year of using exclusively the T1 (calming) mode I decided to try the T3 (energizing) mode. This mode appears to provide me with more energy throughout the day. Now, in the mornings I use the T3 (energizing) mode, and around 6pm I use the T1 (calming) mode. I also use this device for headaches throughout the day. When I get a headache I use the T3 mode.Cons:-Device display is completely in Chinese language except for the length of application in minutes which says 15, 20, 30 minutes. I asked the seller 3 times to provide instructions how to set the display to English but have not been successful with my request.Device came completely with package and instructions in Chinese language, no English at all.Upon my request the seller provided a sheet with English instructions.-The instruction are very basic and do not include an explanation how the device works and what research this is based on. It is mentioned that this device uses Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation (CES) but cranial means skull: The device does not connect to the head but to the forearm. No guidance is provided about the forearm acupuncture point and how to place the device over it.-No instructions provided when, how long and how often to use the device I had to rely on information on the web how to use it.I was able to determine what is being shown on the display but some people may be uncomfortable with a display using Chinese characters. Strangely, on the web, the display is shown in English language.-Rechargeable battery built-in thus not rechargeable-device will be unusable in 2 to 3 years- very bad One charge initially lasted me about 3 days, i.e. about 15 x 30 minutes of use. After 365 days of use instead of the initial charging every 3 days I need to charge it every day. Each charge will give me only 3 or maximum 4 x 30 minutes of running it. So the battery is at the end if its lifetime as I expected. Soon I will need a replacement.-Electrical frequency appears to be about 4 to 5 Hz (not mentioned in the instructions)-Package is completely anonymous with manufacturer's address and product support information missingConclusion:This is a promising device, but with no English language menu provided, missing customer service, failing battery after one year, and missing instructions how to use it, I rate this with 1 star.

Purchased the item and followed the (limited) instructions but the item did not work. The manufacturer apologised and sent a replacement free of charge. Unsurprisingly this did not work either.
