Great value
Great value, good optics. A little on the heavy side but a consequence of the 50mm optics (genuine as opposed to Chinese version), with good light gathering in dimmer environments.

Excellent wildlife binoculars
These binoculars although not the lightest, are very good indeed. A reputable manufacturer making a good product.

Excellent value for money
I bought these bins for a trip to Antarctica. I had considered more expensive makes such as Nikon etc. However, having read other reviews I settled for these and I have to say I'm really impressed. They are light but this does not mean they're a compromise as they still seem to be robust. The clarity and ease of focus is really good. I recommend them.

Great binoculars for landscapes and birdwatching
I’m really happy with the Opticron Adventurer II WP PC 8x42. The case and neck strap are very helpful and make it easy to carry around. It’s not heavy, fits comfortably in the hands, and works perfectly for both landscapes and birdwatching. Overall, a great experience and a comfortable model for both adults and teenagers’ hands.

Maybe try another brand?
Just don’t work as you’d expect for the money.

Great Buy, Quality Binoculars for the money.
I bought these for occasional holiday use with some star gazing on clear nights. I was very surprised by the clarity of the images it produces for the money. Definitely recommend these Binoculars.

Good optics and comfortable to hold
Good optics, comfortable to hold. A little heavy but that’s to be expected with the magnification and front optic size. Perhaps could do with a tripod mount.

Very tight
Received my opticron adventurers on time, as expected the clarity is excellent considering they're not a top of the range binocular, but the 1 big issue with this pair is the control for balancing the 2 lenses it was locked solid and would not move with maximum hand pressure, as I wanted these for a field weekend away I had to resort to going to a local shop who with the aid of a approved lubricant eventually got it moving fractionaly enough to balance for me, I'm very surprised that a good firm like opticron don't have a more thorough QC department

Bought for my kids. They love them

Pros: -bright image as expected from a 50mm front lens -relatively lightweight compared to similar models -weather proof Cons: -contrast could be better -distortions at the edge of the field

I have nothing bad to say about this binocular except that its focusing wheel is a bit stiff and hard. Now for the good part, it is built like a tank. Very well designed and easy to use. Its powerful 12x magnification power brings distance object so much closer and clearer. Very bright and with good optics, I have no problem handling it although it weighs in at a hefty 800gm. On the contrary I like binoculars that are heavier as they accentuate the feel factor. I got it at a good price too.

Ordered the 8 x 32 but received the 8 x 42 instead. I would have kept it but found that I had problem with vignetting and this made it almost impossible to use it comfortably although it has good optics and is well built. Had to return for a refund.
