I like the strap, once I got it figured out and adjusted correctly works and help keep my back for getting tired. The only thing I would change is a larger shoulder strap, I will just have to look into finding a better one.

liked the price and ease of putting it on and taking it off. Would have given a 5 stars but the velcro thats used to attach to the weedwacker is way too weak....I got a stronger one and it works fine.

My electric Ryobi string trimmer did not come with a sling or even a connection for one. No ptoblem. This sling has an ioptional industrial strength Velcro strap that can loop around the shat. My trimmer has a straight shaft and extendib it can be tiring and make the trimmer difficult to control. This sling helps distribute the weight and stabilizes the trimmer when in use.

I know a bunch of reviews talk about the Velcro not being strong enough. However my toro had an actual clip built in that I never noticed until I decide to get a sling. Check yours because most have the clip and won’t need the Velcro. That said after 9 years of weed whacking without a sling, I can now say I will whack it twice as much because it is so much easier. Used to do once a month now I can do every 2 weeks. The sling has made it 98% easier and less strain on my bad arm. It’s amazing. Even if you don’t have a clip built in and have to use the Velcro attachment u can use a piece of duct tape to hold and it is worth it.

I bought this for my detector. I almost didn't because it received some poor reviews about the sling slipping and being too short. I have to say there are limited instructions, so that might be part of the problem. The sling has plenty of adjustment and unless you are 8ft tall or have a huge stomach, it should fit. I weigh 190 and am 6'. There's plenty of adjustment. You have to take the pad off to adjust and then put it back on. As far as slipping, initially, when I took the ring out, I installed it the way it came out of the package. I couldn't get it to stay on or not slip. I then turned it over and looped it backwards through the ring...rock solid, no slip.

After adding some Velcro to the edger strap I was able to balance my edger to my units balance point (reason for 4 stars) and the way I use my unit. That and a few adjustments on the shoulder strap length and I was cutting away with little to no strain. The edger weight was now on my shoulders and my arms and hands were adjusting the cut as things went along. Much less wear and tear on my body. At 76 and 3 joint replacements, balance and WnT is important.

I may need to exednd the length, but I expected to because I am larger than most people. Other wise it seems to work good.
