minimal cords on top!
All the cords under the desk but not on the ground. Easy to access, clips to the lip of the desk and keeps it from falling or sliding off. Only short usb cables on top

Great buy.
I like that the power switch is on top and outlets are below for cable management. I liked it so much I have two for our home desk work spaces.

[6 Outlet + USB Desk Clamp] A good idea, but not as stable or powerful as it should be.
I like the idea of the 6 Outlet Desk Clamp, but there are a couple issues with the design of the strip. It's not a complete failure, but you may not be able to use it as you would like. The first issue is that the only ports that appear on the desktop are the USB ports. There should have been at least one AC outlet on the top of the device given the amount of footprint on the desk's surface, just for convenience. Even if users intend to generally use the device to hide the AC plugs, this would have been a big bonus. This is minor flaw. The USB-C port is a little weak at 3A (x5v = 15W), and the USB-A ports are rated at 2.4 A although as normal ports you'll generally only draw 1.5 A (x5V = 7.5W). I couldn't find a device that I had that would draw more. This means that you can do some normal cell phone charging and use lower power devices, but for laptops and higher power devices you don't have anything, and you'll need a separate charger - which would have to hang under the desk since there's no AC plug on the desk. Again, not the biggest flaw, but not really special. I don't expect a lot from a strip in this price range, but I would hope for a little more. This leads us to the big draw, which is the easy clamp onto the desk. The construction seems solid enough, but the moving side of the clamp is not flat, which does not help the clamp balance and means you need a very normal flat desk to clamp onto. But more importantly, it's just not very strong. This means it will be easy to move around, but I had trouble keeping the clamp where I wanted it. The weight and bend of the cord would often be enough to move the clamp out of place. All around, it's not a terrible product, and it's not useless, but it feels like it needs a second Tripp to the design lab.

Perfect under desk
Perfect for my standup desk. I have no issues with it moving or falling off.

I had to return this.
My desktop is 1 - 1/4 inch thick. Not three inches. The spring was not strong enough to hold it in place, and may even have been sprung. It was like an alligator yawning. It came in the store box with a mailing label stuck to it. No shipping box or outside packing. It may have been returned before. I don't know. But it wasted my time a little. I bought a different brand that has torque screw mounts, and that worked out so fine, that I bought a second one.
