Works great
I really like this product. It works great. I like the balm better than the cream though. Same thing but different format. The cream tends to roll up on my skin as I’m blending it in.

Some trial and error
I want to say that I have oily skin with large pores.First time venturing into a makeup-skincare hybrid product, this is a very thick and rich type of cream with no detected scent. I used this after applying my serum and misting my face, it helped to spread to product better onto my face and didn't experience any pilling initially. I tried this on the back of my hand as per the application instructions and found it to tug on my skin and pill up even with no other products underneath. I can't see how this can be a moisturizer, let alone one for oily skin but it is most definitely a primer. It does blur minor pores/lines, mattifies and feels velvety smooth. After trying this in different orders, I've settled to using this after my morning routine—cleanse, serum, light moisturizer and sunscreen, followed with a makeup priming spray and then a small amount of this tapped into the areas that need blurring and mattifying. It just doesn't hydrate like I would like or help with with the larger pores that I have. It does feel light on the skin but I don't think I would get this again, especially given the price.

Great for minimizing pores and smoothing complexion
The Perricone MD No Makeup Instant Blur Priming Moisturizer really works great for minimizing pores - this is not a product that would smooth the appearance of deep wrinkles - more very fine lines. You only need a very small amount which is great because the container is 1 oz. I have purchased a lot of primers - expensive and inexpensive. I found in terms of pore minimizing, this product is very unique. It not only really minimizes pores, but also gives your skin a softer look - smoothing your complexion. Almost like a photo filter without the camera. It also leaves your skin feeling very soft.To get the full benefit of this product and not get flaking, you do not want to use another moisturizer. I cleansed my face, used a toner, put a serum (I love using COSRX Peptide Serum that I ordered on Amazon), used Perricone MD and then applied my foundation. The nice thing about this product is that you do not need very much, a little goes a long way so it makes it more cost-effective.I used a 20x magnification mirror, this is the only way I can tell if a pore minimizer works as advertised. What I have to compare this product to is; Elf Pore Minimizing Putty - which for me is equal in minimizing pores, but the Elf does not give you that soft look like this product does. This is what makes the Perricone MD No Makeup Instant Blur Priming Moisturizer stand out - the blurring effect - that is really a pore minimizing smoothing complexion effect - which is excellent!

Works well, but a little effort to apply
This Perricone MD No Makeup Instant Blur Priming Moisturizer takes a bit more effort to apply than my separate primer and moisturizer, so I'm not sure if this combo really saves any time. It's a thick cream and needs to be rubbed between the fingertips for several seconds. The instructions also say to use an upward motion to put it on, which I find a bit awkward. I've noticed a little clumping that I've needed to blend out, so I am still getting the hang of those steps. When I get it applied correctly, it has a soft, smooth look and feel. It leaves my normal but "mature" skin feeling balanced even without any other skincare products on. Recommend.
