The East Oak 48,000 BTU patio heater has exceeded my expectations in every way. Assembly was straightforward, and the build quality feels solid and durable. Once fired up, the heat output is impressive — the 48,000 BTUs easily warm a large outdoor space, even on chilly evenings. I really appreciate how evenly it distributes heat, and the adjustable settings make it easy to find the perfect comfort level. The ignition is quick and reliable, and the safety features give extra peace of mind when operating it around guests. On top of great performance, the heater looks fantastic. Its sleek design adds a modern touch to the patio and blends well with any outdoor décor. Overall, this heater is powerful, efficient, and well worth the investment. This thing is awesome! We’ve had it for about 2 years and every time we use it, we’re reminded how great it is. It’s super easy to assemble and if you’re willing to work hard enough, it will fit a 30 gallon LP tank. You can comfortably sit 10 feet away from this thing and still feel the heat. Sitting right underneath is perfect. If I were smart enough and not accident prone with power tools, I’d build a table to fit around it and use it for outside entertaining. But, it works perfect for sitting out and handing out candy on Halloween or sitting out on the deck or porch on a cool night.

It was relatively easy to put together as the instructions are fairly well written. I (having to wear reading glasses) had to use a magnifying glass to double-check the direction of the bolts and nuts in a few spots. It took me about an hour by myself to assemble. Now for the quality: Everything is of very acceptable quality and the assembled heater really looks GREAT! (We have the black). Tank installed now and it works perfectly. I particularly like the access holes in the base that allow you to easily turn the gas tank on and off. They are also the way you lift the base cover to install/change the tank. Very well done East Oak. I will look at your other stuff now (I did get the cover for this heater already).

I acquired this device due to my residence in Florida, where its frequent use is unlikely. However, it provides a valuable utility when hosting outdoor gatherings in cold weather. The assembly process was straightforward and devoid of any complications. Recently, I had the opportunity to utilize the device more extensively. Notably, it generates a substantial amount of heat. One user reported that one side of the device emitted more heat than the other. I attributed this observation to the positioning of the heater on the lawn, which caused the device to tilt unevenly. Consequently, the fire may have shifted to one side, resulting in a temperature difference. In summary, I positioned chairs around the device and, at the highest setting, it effectively provides a gentle warmth that can be directed towards those nearby. Standing directly next to the device on the highest setting intensifies the sensation of heat.

This is a nice heater which spreads heat across my deck for 4-6 people. I like the mounting option to secure it to the deck. Very warm and seems a quality unit.

Have to say it’s a really nice heater. Tall for sure. Maybe to tall. Especially if trying to put a cover on it. After installing on deck and lighting it have to say it’s got the right amount of heat. I added a heat shield , which was a pain in the ass to put together but works well non the less. Will see if it holds up to cold weather here in the north east. Stainless steel features and looks good too. Installed in no time, directions were good too. Now let’s see if it has the guts to work its magic. Time will tell. Follow up coming.

I set this up in my pavillion to keep me and my family warm when cooking in colder weather. I grill year round and wanted something like this. I got 2 on sale and theu work awesome. Set up was easy and it is simple to use. If you want a good umbrella heater for a great price, this is it.

Assembly wasn’t easy, but it was doable with one person (and some duct tape to stabilize). Taking the protective film off took a surprising amount of time. This patio heater heated up my whole sitting area just fine. Only one pre-set screw hole gave me trouble, had to put the screw in over and over to not be hopeless, as all of em needed to be in place for proper assembly (duh). The stabilizers nearly scratched my brand new composite deck, placing a towel underneath while scooting/rolling it into place helped it not scratch. I severely bruised my wrist placing the canister in the chamber, be sure the chamber doesn’t come crashing down on you while doing the same!

Muy buena calidad en materiales y calienta muy bien. Considero que solo deberían de poner en la descripción que se necesita un tanque con salida QCC (americana) o en su defecto un adaptador para México.

Funciona muy bien! En Guadalajara Jalisco te ayuda a estar calientito, solo como punto los tanques de México no embona la conexión, viene para los tanques de USA encargue ese adaptador por Mercado libre y sin problemas es de fácil conexión pero para que lo contemplen de ahí en más se ve elegante!

Lo compré con poco de duda, pero estoy muy satisfecho, mi jardín es amplio pero tiene l capacidad de calentar en un buen radio de distancia, muy fácil de armar.

Solo tener cuidado con el tanque de gas, ya que debe tener rosca exterior, no es un tanque “normal” en México, pero si se consigue en Home Depot.
