Great realistic looking vinyl
Great quality vinyl for a great price! I was refurbishing some tall bookshelves my husband and I got from his parents that were originally green with birkwood colour where we placed the vinyl (for my husband’s office). It was pretty easy to apply where we wanted it to and even if it was off slightly, when overlapped to cover the imperfections it was like there wasn’t any to begin with. The grain print blends beautifully and would order more for potential future projects.

Good quality contact paper
Very thick, consistent with wallpaper thickness in my opinion. I used it to cover a flush wood door (the door I covered wasn’t completely flat, it has some textured wood grain grooving, the paper adhered and covered it well without a problem), we are replacing our doors and I wanted to test the color but it is good enough quality that you could refinish doors with this product. The color was a little darker than I expected but still pretty.I bought the 48” wide size to cover a door that was 32” wide, definitely did not need that much extra width. The most difficult part for me was cutting clean straight edges along the edge of the door. I’m very OCD so this bothered me but it’s probably not noticeable to anyone else.I used a wallpaper smoothing tool which was very easy. I did end up with 2 small bubbles and followed advice to poke them with a needle, blow dry with warm air then smooth out. It didn’t seem to work I think honestly because the product is too thick lol, it’s high quality! You can’t really notice the bubbles in my case, but I think you would in a brighter room.Photos show before and after.

Adheres Great
I like the look. Covered the Ikea island I made (put 2 cabinets together). Color is close to the drawers too.Love the matte finish & definitely cheaper than other alternatives to cover the island. As I unrolled it, some of the backing separated from the vinyl (not 5 stars because of this, made measuring/ marking problems) but it didn't cause a problem when adhering to my surfaces. An exacto knife worked well cutting it & sticking the bubbles. Actually easy to put on, starting the process was hard & having 2 people helps: 1 smoothing/1 pulling backing, but no vinyl rip or stretch, use muscles to pull back up & reposition.

Upgrading on a budget
This product helped complete the look of the kit hen. Once applied it was very similar to the actual butcher block that we have on the other side. It is a quick and easy fix. Thick vinyl material, has little grooved lines to mimic a wood grain. There was quite a bit in one roll. Easy to cut and application took a min making sure the bubbles were all out. Would purchase for future projects.

Hard to work with solo
I would use this again being better prepared. This is not for kitchen countertops. I bought this to cover an ugly craft room desk when I turned it into a home office. This is a temporary fix!If you aren’t right up on it, it turned out OK. Things I learned:This is not a one person job. One person cannot control this.Avoid things with curves.Start with the flattest part first.Use the lines in the back and don’t guess! The adhesive on this stuff is super strong. Once it touches a surface it is hard to remove, so there is not much room for mistakes. If it doubles up on itself, that part is useless.I messed this up so bad. I didn’t measure and ended up too short, had to remove once. Ran out of paper so I had to put it in vertically which I didn’t want to do and have a seam down the middle. It does go around edges or corners well and it rips pretty easily. This is actually stapled on the bottom because it had been removed so many times it wasn’t sticking to the bottom. Since I ran out of paper I have to live with some tears. The first piece got stuck to the second piece on the sticky sides and I also have a bid crumple.I’m impressed with the adhesion strength - but because of it, I really could have used one or two other people to handle the paper and keep it stretched out and not let it get stuck to everything or itself. Quite a job!

Cannot believe how much better the doors look!
I rarely take time to write reviews but I'm going to with this product. My company was hosting our President/CEO for a Town Hall Meeting and our conference room was in pretty bad shape. We painted, had the carpet cleaned and did a through cleaning but the wooden doors looked really bad. No amount of scrubbing or sanding made any difference. I had used adhesive skins on cornhole boards before so I thought I would try that route. This stuff came in a big roll and was enough to do 2 complete doors front and back for about $100. It was very durable and really easy to install. I actually trimmed it with a sharp pocket knife and had no issues. The print/pattern looks just like what would be on a new door and our site manager thought we had replaced the doors. It's very sticky but can be pulled up without stretching if air bubbles develop so you can re-position. Very easy to install and it looks fantastic! I'll be ordering more of it for a remodel of our 2nd vacation home. It's awesome, buy it!

Before & after pics using. Love it.
I was looking for something to make my entertainment center look like a real wood that was nice and dark with warm tones and this was it! It was very easy to work with and looks amazing. You really can’t tell it’s not Wood. It gives off such a rich, warm tone. It’s really quite beautiful, but it doesn’t have yellow undertones in it which I like. Here is the before and after pictures. I would buy again.
