I like that blocks (paper) are glued on all four sides to prevent the paper from warping when wet. I just used a letter opener, slid between the pages to slice it loose. Smooth texture.

The best watercolor paper I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Its expensive, but oh so work it. So smooth, its so interesting to work with.

Smooth as silk, this Hot Pressed block of watercolor sheets is tops for drawing and rendering true tone. It is also easily erasable, displays minimal smudging. I have been rather impressed with just how much detail I am able to express using Tombow drawing pencils on this high quality paper.

I would like this paper a lot more if it was in a block. I paint very wet and even with taping the paper to a board, it buckles a lot.

I needed to find an alternative to Arches hot press watercolor paper because of a smell and the use rabbit glue that is part of its paper production. Fabriano Artistico Hot press watercolor paper is just delightful to work with and is the alternative I needed. It enables me to lift light washes effectively and it is durable enough for light to medium scrubbing on its surface. It is a little bit more expensive then arches. The size allows me to try out the Fabriano Artistico hot press watercolor paper and decide if I want a purchase larger sheets in the future.

All my expensive watercolors look so dull on this paper, just not worth using. I did not realize just how amazing Arches watercolor paper was until I tried this less expensive brand, it takes all the joy out of watercolor painting.

The paint adheres to this paper very well I love it. It is a bit expensive but very well worth the money if you want to have high quality paintings on a smaller scale

So far, I like the convenience of pulling out one page at a time. My watercolors work as expected, and the convenient 5x7 size makes it easy to glue onto colored card stock for cards. It has a smooth texture (versus a little bumpy in standard watercolor paper like Swarthmore) and is white versus and eggshell. Just what I wanted!
