I do recommend also buying the NitFree Terminator in addition to this ...
Unfortunately, it happened to me. FYI, as I usually remain in my bubble (at home), Im assuming I obtained these nasty creatures on an airplane. I was in no way infested where I could see them and / or it was obvious but I knew there was something occupying me (black specs, tingles, etc). Anyway, after trying multiple products, home remedies etc., Lice Clinics of America's Lice remover has provided me the most optimism. The reason is because you MUST get them out and off your hair. I do recommend also buying the NitFree Terminator in addition to this product. It will ensure you pull every last one of them out. What I loved the most about this product is that the gel fuses to everything foreign in your hair and on your head. You will have no choice but to pull the nasties out. Make sure you read the directions and use the comb when applying; when precombing (helps a bunch and gives you an idea which areas need the most combing), and then use their little green steel comb or the terminator comb (as I recommended). I also suggest not only parting the hair in multiple sections but combing north, south, east and west from root to tip. After completing the first go round, repart the hair in sections again but this time differently (to ensure every strand is combed) and again comb out north, south, east and west from root to tip. Rinse the comb after each stroke - trust me youll want to. IDK if it killed the nasties or not (because this was treatment number IDK 20 or something) but it is exactly the trick to pull it all out. Because this is one of the most unfair things to happen to an individual in any given lifetime, I have listed below what has worked and hasn't worked:Did NOT Work:RID for super lice, regular kit, foam, spray, etc. followed with combing - The RID products literally only inspired movement and nauseaMayo and Tea Tree - You must leave this on over night and of course comb out with a steel bug be gone comb. Well, it stopped the feeling of invasion but it wasn't 2 days later I was back in the store dropping another $100 on something else. However, my hair looked gorgeousTea Tree, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil - Same as Mayo and Tea Tree.Vinegar until hair dries, comb out, blow dryer and hair straightener - very time consuming and ineffectiveLice Freeee Gel - Just like the RID, only inspired movement and the creepsStraight Tea Tree (entire bottle) - I left it on for half a day and then combed it out. My dog, kids, you name it avoided me as I smelled of gasoline and caused a sore throat leading to laryngitis. LOL Hey, I was willing to try anything. Somehow, they still existed even after what I believed was a thorough comb out with the steel combs previously received through RID and other products after a 10 min boil to sterilize.Walking through fire - made my hair a little shorter but that's all.Sage and/or Exorcism - Im not going to rule it out but initially it was ineffective.Selson Blue, vinegar, coconut oil, salt - The nasties had a beach party but remainedWhat worked:Vamousse - This was my first treatment attempt. I believe it was effective in killing the live nasties. However, at the time I did not have the terminator comb and therefore, the poor combing out attempt resulted in a return (yes a return following all those other treatments listed above). Because the fight was won but the war was not over, I chose to try everything and anything.Lice Remover Kit from Lice Clinics of America - As I mentioned above, I am very optimistic. After all these treatments what has clicked is that you just have to put plenty of time aside and simply pull every last one of the nasties out including their nit friends, eggs, beach balls, etc. This stuff will grab it and provide you optimism. Be sure to also wash EVERYTHING you have worn and things that were left beside everything you have worn within a 10 mile radius. Turn your water heater all the way up (warn everyone in the house you have done so) and wash everything on the hottest cycle you can. Dry everything on the hottest cycle too (sterilize cycle if you have it). For everything you cannot wash or things you commonly worn often (yes your favorites...also suggest including gym clothes), put in a gallon size zip lock, consolidate all zip locks into a trashbag and let it sit in your garage for 2 weeks. Wash in super hot water and dry super hot cycle following the two week transition. Wash ALL bedding. Spray and vacuum your mattresses. Remember to spray down your pillows as well. It doesn't hurt to pray while you do these things. Vacuum everything; take your dog to the groomers and get him/her a flea and tick treatment (because although dogs do not become infested, your dog can temporarily host these bad boys until they bounce back onto the mothership (you or the infected person); stock up on your favorite beverage and clean EVERYTHING. Follow up and comb through your hair daily for at least 10 days, do one more of these treatments, comb, buy hair extensions to fill in your thinner hair and if you still have time and money left, take yourself out for a job well done. Oh, and be sure to annoyingly check everyone else's head in the household daily until you know you are golden. Explain to the significant other you are planning something special for them so you are saving up for that event (whether you follow through or not is up to you - I did).To be honest, if its possible to go to a Lice Clinic of America or there is an alternate means to have this mess removed from the hair professionally, I'd suggest to go that route. It'll save you a ton of money and time. Unfortunately, that option was ruled out in the area I live.I hope this review was helpful. God speed and good luck.

This WORKS
When I discovered lice in my daughter's hair, I immediately ran to the drugstore and bought Nix without doing any research. The Nix worked well enough, killing the adult lice, but it burned, smelled terrible, had my daughter in tears, and did nothing to kill the remaining eggs. About a week later the eggs hatched and I ordered this product from Lice Clinics with next day shipping. This product smelled beautiful, went on easily, did not burn, and over week later there is no sign of lice, nits, or nymphs. My daughter has very, very long hair (down to her rear end), so we made sure to brush it well before applying the product. This greatly helped when combing it through her hair. The applicator takes a minute to get the hang of, but once I did it was simple and effective. I was afraid I would run out of product about half way through, so I switched to just applying it to the roots with the comb, and then smearing the rest of the bottle though her hair by hand at the end. We ended up having plenty. It gets very sticky, but it works by suffocating the lice and eggs, so the texture is part of it doing it's job. It took about 3 washes to get it all out, but that was a small price to pay for its ease of use and effectiveness. If we are ever afflicted with lice again, this will be the only product I buy.

Best lice product on the market.
Best lice treatment for children and adults. Easy to use and works effectively every time. We have had a few close calls with my children’s friends having lice I don’t hesitate to use this treatment. There’s no harsh chemical smell or drying of their hair. We have a lot of hair in our family, and I always thought lice would be impossible to get rid of that was before I found CURE!

Stop Looking
Hey there! I just want that when I first learned my daughter had lice due to a school infestation, I paniced. Read and searched for the right product. This arrived next day. This product is very very very good I cannot say it enough. The smell isn’t intolerable, nor bad, it’s thick and oily and stays in the hair. I was able to flyer rid of all lice easily. Took time due to amount of hair my daughter has but it was very easy. After a while during the first comb the ones I found were dead. It comes with enough for the first time plus the folllow up treatment at 9 or 10 day mark. I have little amount of hair, thin and thinning and I also used it same bottle worked great just as a prevention you never know. I recommend it’s my favorite I already sadly had to use it again since lice returned at school. It works great. Only thing is that my daughter did complain of headache on day two it passed. Price is very affordable comparing that a hair salon will charge you $200. So you buy this and do the heavy lifting smiling knowing you saved your send headache or overspending in the salon.

Good & effective but leaves greasy oily residue
It works and is fast and effective. Like other reviewers have shared, it leaves an oily and greasy residue for days even washing the hair with shampoo several days afer.

DOES NOT wash out of hair
I'm sure the product itself works, but it refuses to wash out of your hair afterwards. If you have long or thick hair, AVOID THIS COMPLETELY, get the Nix shampoo instead. If you do use this, you have to use Dawn dish soap to get it out, otherwise it will leave your hair incredibly greasy. Regular shampoo does not work, water does not work. I had to wash my hair a total of 15 times to get it out.I found the most effective way to wash it out is to lather all of your hair in Dawn, use a disposable shower cap and let it sit for ten minutes, and then wash it out. I had to do this twice, then use regular shampoo/conditioner. Again, AVOID THIS PRODUCT unless you want to spend hours washing your hair. Other dish soap brands did not work for me.
